Aspire Atlantis - nicotine level

Hey, quick question. I think I'm finally going to bite the bullet on an Atlantis, but my one concern is all of my juice is currently 18mg. Will I want to buy some juice that has lower nic to use in the Atlantis? I have tried rebuilding a little bit in the past, and I did have to drop down to anywhere from 12mg to 6mg when dripping to avoid getting the classic too-much-nicotine stomach ache.

Thank you, that's what I figured. Yeah, I'm currently just rotating between a Nautilus Mini and a Joyetech Delta on an iStick. I've been through so much different gear over the years and this setup is good, but the Atlantis is calling my name. I tried one in a store the other week and it blew my mind.

I vape below .5, which is what I think the Atlantis is coiled at, but I would never go above 6mg. I specifically seek out 3mg juices. People who vape sub-ohm like this and are still using 12mg or higher nicotine are crazy. Not only will it hurt and wreck the juice flavor, but thats the kind of dose that will make people sick.

Actually what I do is use 0 or 3 mg/ml nic in my Atlantis. I made the mistake of using my normal nic level juice in the Atlantis when I first got it. WOW, talk about nicotine overdose. It came on fast and furious (I wish I could stop chain gaping) to instant headache, shakes, and nausea, then dry heaves. Dumped out the juice and went to my local shop and got some 0 and 3 nic juice.

Started on 0, then mixed the 0 and 3 slowly through several tanks, eventually up to 3. Still found it to much, and worked my way back down to 0 with a few drops of 3.

But everyone is different. I have a friend that drips 24 and is contemplating moving UP. He never gets ill, but gets the withdrawal shakes if he doesn't get his hit regularly.

I previously used 18 mg juice and when I switched to the Atlantis tank I switched to 6 mg. Good thing I did, even still it's a little intense due to the massive power providing giant hits. I agree with everyone else, I would not go above 6 mg.

I did not know this about sub ohming! Thanks, it explains a lot I've noticed since I got my Atlantis last week. I think I just toasted a coil... only 5 days old but I go through 1-2 tanks per day.
