[h=2]New Atlantis V2 tank by Aspire[/h] It’s been confirmed that Aspire will be releasing the Atlantis 2.0 at the end of March. Aspire says that they have designed and developed the Atlantis 2.0 tank based on user feedback, this includes new replaceable coil heads with resistances as low as 0.3ohms. I hope that they never go lower than 0.3ohm coils for “fill and vape” tanks because anything lower is just too dangerous for the average user. The fact is that many vapers who use these new Sub-Ohm tanks probably do not understand sub-ohm vaping safety. More ultra sub-ohm coils will probably lead to more exploding e-cigarette story’s, like there isn’t enough already.
With the release of the Aspire Atlantis V2 there will be three new replaceable coils each with a different resistance. Here is what Aspire said:

  • 0.3ohm, power with 60-70 watts
  • 0.5ohm power with 20-30 watts
  • 1.0ohm power with 40-50 watts
I also recently receive an e-mail about the Aspire Atlantis 2.0 and here is what it said:
The new features of Atlantis 2.0:
  1. Lower Ohm coil, more vapor!
  2. Significant update on the mouth tip, dual air control system.
  3. Burning mouthpiece problem solved! More vapor with better taste.
  4. Compatible with previous version Atlantis coil.
Not too much information but they say that the 2.0 will be able to use the original Atlantis coils. However this makes me wonder if you will also be able to use the 2.0 coils in the original Atlantis or if there will be some kind of adapter you have to use like on the Kanger Subtank.

There still isn’t much information available on the Aspire Atlantis 2.0 even though it’s scheduled for release at the end of March. They don’t even have a webpage about the Atlantis V2 on Aspires Website.
As more information is released on the new V2 tank I will add it to this page.

This is in obvious response to the competition leveraged by the Artic & Herakles tanks, (among others) both of which offer higher watts, more vapor, and more flavor. I have the Herakles, and it is a lot better in vapor and flavor than either the Atlantis or the Kanger tanks, and I have each of those as well. My biggest issue with the Heralkes is the quality of the build. It just feels cheaper, less sturdy, and I'm not sure of the durability. An entry into this market by the "big boys" will be a welcome addition, in my opinion.

3ml tank again? With a .3ohm coil? Same problem I have with the Arctic. I love my Arctic but have been rocking my FreeMax Starre with 5ml capacity for the past week. These things guzzle juice. I guess it's a way to profit off accessories. SMH
Looks like there will be a larger one offered as well.. The airflow control looks different on the mega too.

Yet another new video, this one shows the new coils up close, 4 airholes at bottom of head now +massive juice flow holes, huge i.d. of coils looks like 5-6mm vs 4mm on old ones & appear to possibly be 24 gauge ? And they look like they fit the original Atlantis.
