Run warm water through the coil to remove excess juice. Or, if really cruddy, place coil in a small bowl of water and microwave for 3 - 3 minutes.
Cool the coil and blow out the excess water.
Place coil in Everclear or cheap vodka for several hours or overnight.
Blow out excess liquid and place on foil in toaster oven for about 3 minutes to thoroughly dry out the coil.
Screw coil into base and screw base on a battery. Pulse the battery in short bursts and look into the top of the coil. The coil will burn off the crud and eventually glow bright red. Keep battery voltage between 3.2 and 3.8 volts.
The BDC coils will last a long time if you do not let them get too gunked-up.

What Keonee said except that after they dried I would dry burn them using the lowest setting possible on your APV (or 3.7v if not vv/vw) by pulsing the power until the stinky smoke stops and the coils burn clean. A good rinse and dry and they should be good to go for another round!

Edit: Barryo is too fast!

The BDC coils are currently being replaced by a new BVC coil similar to the one used in the Nautilus line of atomizers. The new vertical coil is far superior to the dual horizontal coils in the BDC. Looks like retailers are cleaning-out their stock of BDC coils as the BVC coils are becoming available.
I have been using the BVC coils designed for the Nautilus for several weeks and they are fantastic. The vaping performance of the BVC coils is nearly as-good-as the performance I get from my rebuildable Kayfun atomizers.

One other trick that my wife figured out (credit where credit is due!) that works pretty well: take a small shred of paper towel and twist it into a small enough "poker" that you can get it into the hole in the top of the coil, then *gently" twirl it around. It'll come out covered in gunk.

We've found that 90% of the time it'll clear out most of the gunk that is causing flavor loss and/or tight draw. It's a handy thing if you're out and about and your coil suddenly clogs up but beware, 5% of the time it'll do nothing and the other 5% of the time it'll trash the coil.

Here is the quickest way, it works every time and takes just a few minutes AND you can use them again immediately!:

1) After every tank - 3-5 ml
2) Take it apart ( not the coil !)
3) Rinse everything in hottest tap water possible for 2-3 minutes....be sure water is clear running out of the bottom of the coil
4) Put against lips and blow out the coil as hard as you can a few times, turn it around and do the same thing...to dry it
5) Put coil back on stem and screw to mod and dry burn till no smoke
6) Take coil off stem and rerun under tap water as above to remove ash etc.
7) Repeat step 4 assemble and VAPE

The key is not to let it get too built up, I do this every tank and it works like a charm and takes very little time.
The first couple drags will be weak from the water but it wicks it up well in just a few drags and your back in business without all the hassle that some folks go through.

Happy Vaping
