aspire bdc taste

Hey guys,
I just got an aspire bdc a few days ago and I worked awsome for about 20 puffs then I got this nasty burnt plastic taste creeping in I have had it happen with two heads I have my mvp set pretty low 6watts and 3.3volts which is as low as it goes I am kinda stumped on this maybe just got a bad batch of heads?

I haven't used and Aspire BDC even though I've had one for a couple months so I can't speak from direct experience concerning that specific model. What is usually the cause of burning taste is burning a dry wick or flat out burning the juice. By the looks of my Aspire, it has 2 small holes for wicking. the wick material does not stick out into the juice so It may affect how effective it is at drawing in the liquid.

Chain vaping may dry out the wick faster than it can wet itself and give you dry hits causing the burn. Your juice may be too thick. What juice are you using? Whats the PG/VG content?

Your MVP settings seem to be in the safe zone so I don't think it's that.

Its an 80pg 20vg blend I find that if I take a few hits without pressing the fire button it gives less of a burnt taste but its getting.kinda old doing that

My CE5 has an amazing taste but I have noticed that with some of my liquids it gets a burnt tastes after several hits. I get no burnt taste with Flue Cured but do with RY3 & 4. The CE5 has also completely changed the flavor of my Black Mile from Nettmix, it has taken it from completely unvapeable to an absolute joy. I have started soaking all my heads prior to using them and this seems to mitigage the problem slightly. My biggest concern with the CE5's is that the bottom metal rings seem to fail. I've ordered the CE5S to see if thats better.

I confirm the problem too. 7 of 11 coils are complete junk. But 2 are the best, so I hope Aspire will invest more in quality control.

Kinda sucks because those coils are kinda pricey compared to the protank or a pack of cartos

Same here! I had two heads last me only 10 min or so. I was so ......... I can't carry a few packs of heads on the road and just keep changing them all day. When it works, it is great. But consistency is awful and that's a deal breaker because it costs me money and convenience.
