what do you have it attached to? Seems to me you have to be pulling air over a rough edge or through a hole with a rough edge. Sometimes you just get the right size opening to create a whistle when air goes though it.
Every one I've had tends to whistle. It seems to have something to do with the position of the air hole on the atomizer. It doesn't seem to affect performance.
is the tank bigger around than the head of the device where it attaches? Try using your little finger while you are drawing on it and gently move it around the area where the two connect, at some point your should mute the sound a little at least that will be the place you are whistling from. also when you screw the tank on is there a gap between the MVP and the tank? I was using an Ego with the BDC and had to get an adapter piece to create a smooth transition.
looks like this small end on the device large end at the tank, This assumes that your tank is the same size mine is.
My wife used to vape like she was drinking a thick milkshake, I could hear the air rush from the other room. I got her to draw on it a little easier and slower, she gets more vapor and a better flavor as well. Don't know what else to suggest, maybe someone else will have some ideas. I'm fairly new at this also, only been vaping since Christmas.

I was having this same issue, vaping with a Vivi Nova - after using an iClear 16, I was used to a higher resistance when I drew (apparently on that clearo I suck like a milkshake LOL), and I'm getting a much better experience now that I'm slowing it down. It still makes a slight noise, but not nearly as bad.
