► Aspire Boxxer Kit; First Impressions:
The Aspire Boxxer Kit is a device, designed to offer a customizable vaping experience for both cheek and lung hits. Its ability to adjust power up to 80W makes it suitable for both MTL vaping and restricted lung (RDL) vaping. The kit is powered by a single 18650 battery, which is not included, and which can be recharged inside the device via a 2A USB-C port. The 0.96-inch color TFT display with six selectable colors and five available vaping modes (WATT, VOLTAGE, BYPASS, TC, CPS) allows users to customize the experience according to their preferences. The AF TANK atomizer, with a 4ml tank refillable from the top and an interchangeable 510 drip tip, together with the upper AFC control ring, allows you to perfectly modulate the airiness of the shot. The Boxxer Kit's sleek, streamlined design, combined with its premium handcrafted construction and lightweight yet durable materials, offers great portability without sacrificing aesthetics or performance.

► Aspire Boxxer Kit; Battery Compartment:
Aspire sent me for this test the Boxxer Mod and the AF Tank both combined in the Blue color, the zinc alloy frame is well shaped and smooth with a very smooth painting, almost rubbery to the touch, all this increases the tactile feedback and ergonomics with the hand. On the side profile there are no intrusive decorations, just two small "Boxxer" writings one on each side. Corresponding to these writings there are two recesses (one on each side) which allow the panel to be removed when it is necessary to replace the internal 18650 cell. On the side you can also see 3 important vent holes (3 on each side), these holes increase user safety in the unfortunate event of a cell malfunction.

The door integrates into the design of the Mod with two powerful magnets that hold it effectively without any movement. This cover appears to be made of zinc alloy like the rest of the chassis, however it is made of lightweight ABS. The battery slot features two gold-plated contact pins for better electrical conductivity. The lower pin has good travel to allow the user to insert/disconnect the battery comfortably and without the need for a strap for extraction. The polarities are clearly marked.

► Aspire Boxxer Kit; Quick On/Off Switch:
The bottom of the Mod with the large foot section allows the Mod to stand up easily without danger of unwanted tipping. On the bottom there is a sliding button that allows you to quickly turn the device on or off. In use, this function is useful when you don't want to waste too much time before placing the Boxxer in your pockets. Those who are used to 5 clicks on the fire button to start the device will have to remember that this switch is present under the Mod.

The front part is recessed and protects the display well in the event of impacts. The "+ and -" and Mode adjustment keys are arranged in a rational manner and do not wobble, in particular the Mode key is a nice shortcut to change the vaping mode. The 0.96 inch color TFT display clearly shows the data and with 33 adjustable brightness levels improves your vaping experience.

Turning on the Mod is simple and immediate, just move the cursor button which is positioned on the bottom of the Mod. To turn off the device just move the cursor button towards the opposite side. To lock/unlock the settings, press the "+" and "-" keys at the same time, so even with the settings locked you can continue vaping. You can also decide to completely block the Mod by leaving it turned on, to do this press the Fire button three times, and to unlock the Mod repeat the operation. Press the Mode button to access mode selection; the mode flashes, press the "+"/"-" adjustment keys to select the output modes between; WATTS, VOLTAGE, BYPASS, CPS, TC-NI / TC-TI/ TC-SS. Long press the Fire button or wait 4 seconds to confirm and maintain the setting. You can set the power from 1 to 80W in steps of 0.5W at a time. You can set the Voltage from 0.5 to 8.4V (Default 4.65V) in steps of 0.001V. You can activate the BYPASS function to simulate the delivery of a Mech Mod. You can set 5 different CPS curves and you can set the TC (200-600°F 100-315°C).

The top of the Mod features a 510 steel cup, slightly raised. This reduces the risk of scratches when installing or removing the tanks. The Mod is designed to accommodate tanks with a base diameter of up to 25mm without external protrusions, thus offering a wide range of compatibility with different tank types. However, users who prefer the MTL (Mouth to Lung) vaping experience can install smaller tanks with a good aesthetic result.

► Aspire AF Tank:
Aspire presents Boxxer Mod and Rover Plus Mod almost simultaneously with its tank called AF Tank. This tank has a diameter of 22mm at the base and stands out not only for its compatibility with the renowned AF Coils, which are among the best-selling on the Pod market, but also because it is the first tank to support this much sought after coil option . Thanks to the push-to-open top filling system, refills become a quick and hassle-free operation, guaranteeing a simple and practical user experience. The capacity of the tank with the supplied Bubble glass reaches up to 4ml, offering excellent autonomy for those who use the device frequently. For those who prefer a slimmer shape and do not need high capacity, you can purchase the 2ml TPD straight tube separately. Inside the Boxxer Kit there is only a 0.4Ω AF Coil and some spare o-rings. The replaceable Type 510 Drip-Tip is designed with an optimally sized hole that is neither too large nor too small. This feature makes it suitable for both MTL (Mouth to Lung) and RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) vaping, offering versatility that will suit a wide range of vaping preferences.

Vapers can customize their vaping experience with the AF tank's adjustable top airflow control ring. This feature allows users to precisely adjust the airflow based on different resistances, this solution minimizes leaks for a cleaner experience. In the image below you can see the lower base separated from the tank, you can notice 6 small holes that channel the air coming from the outside towards the coils, their arrangement is designed to maximize the flavor and to avoid spitting phenomena. Once you have unscrewed the base you can naturally replace the coil by inserting it inside the Tank with light pressure.

► Aspire AF Coils:
Aspire's AF Tank is compatible with AF Coils Platform which currently has 3 different resistors, capable of offering users a diversified vaping experience. The 0.4Ω coil present in the Boxxer Kit is ideal for those looking for a direct-to-the-lungs vaping experience with a massive and flavourful vapor production, the coil is quite versatile and thanks to the adjustable air flow it is possible to adapt them to your Vaping style. Available separately are the 0.6Ω AF Coil and the 1.0Ω AF Coil expressly created by Aspire for restricted MTL vaping.

This is undoubtedly a beautiful 18650 Kit that combines style and elegance, it is light, economical and comfortable, you can combine it with your rebuildable atomizer to take advantage of the TC or CPS modes that the rich ASP chip makes available to you. If, however, you are looking for performance and immediate use, the AF Tank offers you a tasty DL/RDL vape with its 0.4 and 0.6Ω Mesh/coils, or a narrow MTL hit with the 1.0Ω AF coil. With the replaceable 18650 cell you will have a very large energy reserve and you can face the day without any charging stress.
