    Finixx Kit, first impressions:
I immediately thought that Aspire had followed VooPoo by introducing a magnetic base 510 with adjustable AFC capable of hosting the famous "circular pods" already seen on the Aspire BP80. Not so, the circular tanks of BP80 (4.6ml) and Finixx (4.0ml), are not compatible, so they are not designed to be interchangeable.
Aspire is probably developing a more professional path than its competitors, releasing in the future other magnetic 510 Threads with adjustable AFC type "Air Hole" specific for MTL, able to house all its valuable circular tanks such as the Finixx PA12.

I find the Mod Finixx really fascinating, the factor form recalls the prestige of handcrafted creations, but it is also very similar to another Top Mod (Kroma-R), even the weight and dimensions are similar, however Aspire Finixx appears better finished Furthermore, the ASP circuit (self-produced) is richer in important functions than the competitor.

I received the exemplary Gunmetal coloring, in my opinion this and all the other color combinations (sober and elegant) add a touch of class to this new device.
The side view of the Finixx Mod shows a surface with a triple aspect, the first section embraces the front and connects with the lower and rear part of the mod, on one side it contains the writing "Finixx", on the other side it has the writing "Aspire ".
The central section is slightly hollowed and houses the back in liquid silicone for a comfortable grip.

    Aspire Finixx Kit 80W 8.jpg

The faceplate of Finixx Mod is made of darkened plastic, houses the large Fire button, the button is located in the upper part, protected from impact by a protrusion of the frame.
The 0.96 "color display is the central element, below we find the adjustment keys (+) and (-), the" Mode "key for quick access to the menu and the Type-C 5V / 2A charging socket.

The back is made for maximum ergonomics and tactile pleasure, the rounded lines of the frame perfectly integrate the liquid silicone element, in turn decorated with a slightly rough texture to the touch.

The stainless steel 510 cup is screwed to the frame via three French screws, the 510 thread houses a gold-plated, spring-loaded pin.

The lower part of the mod is screwed to the frame by two French screws, shows the disposal logo and the C E mark, centrally there is the stainless steel cap of the compartment / battery equipped with two abundant vents.

The negative pole symbol is not present on the inside of the cap, the positive pole is marked inside the mod on the bottom.

The particular conformation of the upper side of the Mod Finixx allows to house atomizers with a variable diameter from 22 to 28mm always with a good aesthetic feedback.

    Finixx tank:

    Aspire Finixx Kit 80W 13.jpg

The Finixx Tank (4ml) is constructed of food grade PA12 nylon, has the replaceable 510 type Drip-tip wide enough to be rated for RDL / DL.
The refill takes place by detaching the magnetic tank from the base and then through a fairly large hole, protected by a black silicone tab.

The Finixx Tank features on the bottom; the gold-plated pin, the wording "Finixx", the C E mark, the disposal logo, the Brand (Aspire) and the place of origin (China).

The adjustable AFC ring is metal with a knurled surface, equipped with limit switch stops for rotation, it uses two opposing slots (12x3mm) to suck air from the outside.

    BP Coil:
    • The coils are inserted into the tank with the "press-fit" method.

    • When installing a new coil, after filling, wait at least 5 minutes before use, so that the cotton can become saturated with liquid.

There are two types of BP Mesh / Coil in the package, one for DL use and one for a slightly narrower type of vape (DL / RDL).

    - 0.3Ω Aspire BP Mesh Coil (30-40W):
The ASP chipset with the AUTO selection active, sets this coil to 35W by default, the performance is good even with AFC open to the maximum, the puff is fluid and the vapor fresh. By closing the AFC at 50% the puff becomes very interesting, warmer and more aromatic and does not limit the amount of clouds too much, I found the right compromise at about 50% of the AFC opening, the consumption of liquid is relatively low .

    - 0.17Ω Aspire BP Mesh Coil (45-55W):
The ASP chipset with the AUTO selection active, sets this coil to 50W by default, the 0.17Ω I find it very satisfactory, the puff is always fluid, the aromatic perception is high, the amount of vapor is considerable. At 45W (minimum) you already get a lot of satisfaction, raising to 50 / 55W naturally the performance increases together with the consumption of liquid and the heat released which however remains contained.

    • Compared to the Tank BP80 the Tank Finixx seems slightly more airy, I find it particularly suitable for the two coils supplied.

    • In addition to four different types of BP coils, it is possible to purchase (separately) the regenerable RBA BP for "do it yourself".

    Aspire Finixx Kit 80W 16.jpg

    RBA (optional):
Aspire also sent me the BP RBA, so I got to test it and give my impressions.

    Package Includes:
    1 * RBA BP60 Base
    1 * 510 Adapter
    3 * Spare O-rings
    2 * Spare Screws
    1 * Multifunction Screwdriver
    1 * User Manual

The Build is the same one I had previously used on the BP80; Ka1 of 28ga, 5 turns on a tip of 2.5. for a final resistance of 1.1Ω, this type of resistance I made it on purpose to check the difference in MTL yield between the Tank BP80 and the Tank Finixx.

Taking care to close the Air-Flow slots sufficiently, with difficulty I managed to get the MTL vape, the limit is represented by the Tip (replaceable) which is a little too wide for MTL and also by the type of opposing big-slots, it would be preferable an "Air hole" system with calibrated holes, however the feeding is constant and the final result is generally appreciable, slightly more airy than the BP Tank.

    • I very much appreciated the simplicity of regeneration of this small RBA.

    Final Conclusions:
Aspire Finixx 80W is undoubtedly one of the most interesting 18650 kits built this year.
