UPDATE: I have finally decide that it's silver solder (the little blob where the legs come off the coil) that's causing the problem with the heads changing resistance and finally popping when they get to 4 ohms and higher. The ones I have are constructed with non-resistive legs soldered right at the end of the coil where the solder gets the most heat. This needs to change or the problem will continue.
I'm getting a day or less from some heads and the ones that last are slowly rising from 2 ohms to over 4 ohms. Once they hit 4 ohms higher voltage just makes for a crummy flavor, but with with decent vapor. It's not HIGH voltage, either. I start around 3.4v on a 2 ohm coil and sometimes hit 4.2v-4.5v as the coil gets to 4 ohms.
