Katya,
I forgot who you were talking to about the kidney puncher adapter thingie...but this post is for their attention...

My friend Kat Darling.

Soooo.....Grain of salt warning here... Ask Kidney puncher about this before purchasing since I'm only speculating about this dingfod.

Agreed. :)

This of course would be something someone stuck with a crapload of aspire coils (and you know who you are heh heh) would be interested in, since for others running aspire coils in a kanger would be silly since the new BPDC cotton wicked 1.2 ohm coils in an Aerotank would probably blow away Aspires coils, and might even be better than a rebuilt cotton wicked kanger coil.

Remains to be seen. I'm certainly going to get one as soon as they become available. I just hope that they will be easy to rewick--I don't want to vape on old cotton wicks--organic or otherwise. :D

This was made in Germany, not China. It looks stainless steel. It has been vaped heavily, and it still is not rusting. The chimney is very easy to look at, and inspect. It is consistent with the rest of the tank. I am going to save a fortune on coils, by using the rebuildable. The taste is superb. That is enough for me to switch. I don't have to worry about what is going into the coil either. The wire, cotton, rayon etc... is reasonably priced. I like juices that gunk up the coils. I was changing coils left and right. Not just the mini, but all the Aspire tanks I have, were using the bvc coils. Now I can just change the cotton, dry burn, and get the new coil taste, every time, if I want. (without breaking the budget too)

Wish I could jump on the Kayfun route, but bad eyes and shaky hands makes me believe I'd never be able to wrap a coil properly. Plus, Kayfun clones are around the same I've spent on the Aspire clearos - just don't have the cash to get one plus all the tools needed (wire, wick, etc).

But, very happy to hear you've found something that will work great for you kkay!

After checking the Aspire forum, I found out this thread Aspire Support: •View topic - the chimney of the Nautilus is chrome plated brass

Aspire actually admits that the Nautilus chimney is made of brass and the surface is chromed.

I've checked the Nautilus manual (http://www.aspirecig.com/uploads/soft/Manual-aspire-Nautilus.pdf) and all they say is that Nautilus is made of Stainless Steel & Pyrex glass. They never mentioned the Chromed Brass chimney before...

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

It's made in PRC; they call any shiny metal stainless steel and glass Pyrex- helps with sales, even though neither is true...

Just because something says Made In Germany on the box doesn't mean it is true... There are no counterfeit-duplicate Kayfuns made in Germany that I have ever heard of...

true - this was duplicated down to the box

but the main point is kkay has found an atty that does the job and does it well ;) and if i remember right most kayfun counterfeits were made out of all ss

$18.54 SvoeMesto Kayfun v3.1 ES Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

You just need wire, and wick. I have shaky hands too. Watch some videos on You Tube. A coil will last you a while, if you are careful with it. You can wrap it around a drill bit, or screwdriver or something like that. Just a few wraps, and you are on your way...heat it, pinch it, you don't need a blow torch either. I thought I had to have a torch, and ohm meter, you don't. (It would be nice, but it isn't a must have) I already have tweezers, and scissors. Also since I can't see good, I have magnifiers to put on, so I can see what I'm doing.) I do this when putting the wick on. I haven't made coils yet. These two coils I have, were given to me. If coils are hard for you to do, get a younger person with steady hands to wrap them for you. They take no time to do, and you could have several made up for you, in one sitting. Then just store them until you need them.

You can by the real deal then, for a hundred bucks or so. (if I remember right) Not the newest one though, it is high. Still you'd save a lot of money on coils over time. Tiburonfirst is right. It works for me, and it will save me money. The taste is incredible. I can dry burn after gunky juice. I'm not saying everyone do what I did. Do what you want to. I am just saying I am a newbie, and this is working for me. I wish I had started with this, instead of wasting all my money on Aspire products. I spent a fortune on their tanks, and coils so far. After I tried this rebuildable, I decided this is the way to go, for ME. I just want others to know that this option is on the table, if they want it. When I started vaping, I thought there is no way I'm doing a rebuildable. Then since this thread, I have changed my mind. That was a game changer for me.

If it's made in Germany it has to be the Kayfun by SvoёMesto, which is not a clone but the real deal and yes it is all high grade food quality stainless steel. You have a nice friend. Enjoy.

unfortunately, china did not only clone but copied trademarks inclusive packaging. that's why ecf prohibits the sale of those. unless somebody is very, very knowledgeable there is no way to distinguish ..................

So what does that say about FT? Once again they are out to fool the general public with a clone and stealing all the markings of the original. Throwing in the word style is a joke. There is no proof at all that all the Kayfun clones are made of ss.

You can see the true markings on the original compared to the clones. You are very correct ECF will not allow the sale of clones which are listed as original.

I don't know where my friend bought this atty. I just saw this at fast tech, and thought it would be good, if you did a little upgrading to it, it would be even better. You are missing the point Pinggolfer, that I was trying to make. I have this to see what I think of rebuildables, without buying an original Kayfun, or another like it. I like it, in fact, I really like it. So much so, that if I had the money, I would buy at least the real deal in Kayfun. If you want to stick with Aspire, go right ahead. I am not criticizing you for doing so. It is a personal choice. I thought the top of the line clearomizer was the Aspire Mini. After this thread I found I was disillusioned. That is purely MY feeling. If you don't want to rebuild, I can understand that. I had planned to buy 3-4 more Minis. Well, now I can put that money on a great rebuildable instead. The money I save alone on the constant coil changes on the Aspire tanks, will more than buy me a very nice rebuildable. I don't have stock in Kayfun, or anything else. Stick with the Aspire, or switch to Kanger. I really don't care. I am just glad there are so many choices out there.

I missed a few posts here. There is a big difference in SvoёMesto which is made in Germany and SvoeMesto by fasttech. If it works and you enjoy it fine, but to think it's anything like the German Kayfun it's not close.

Well, yes, there is a difference between those. FT clones are much cheaper and not as well made, but but most accounts. they work just fine and are indeed made of ss. However, stainless steel is an alloy, and I'm sure that the clones are made of less expensive alloy than the German surgical grade steel.

Then there are clones made by EHPRO and Tobeco and HCigar, for example, which are indeed very good. Many will argue that a few clone makers actually improved the original design. The 91% Russian fixed several problems of the original Kayfun design. And the EHPRO's KFL+ V2 with dual air control finally eliminated the annoying whistle that plagues the Svoemesto's KFL. ;) As a matter of fact, the Kayfun 4 incorporates a few of those improvements made by the clone makers. :D

I'm always in favor of supporting the original creators--but not everyone can afford the originals. And competition is always good--so long as nobody is trying to sell a copy/clone/knockoff as the original creation.

That said, I agree that "Made in Germany" stamp on the bottom of a Chinese copy is going too far. That's deceiving and should not be there. "Designed in Russia" is actually not a lie, technically... :p

Congratulations and enjoy! Like I said many times before, it all comes down to personal choice. I just want information so I can make my choice based on facts. I don't like being lied to and I choose not to do business with companies that try to deceive me. Every vaper has a right to choose what they like and what works for them--even if it involves accepting the fact that the product they love is not as advertised or may contain questionable materials or ingredients. I know many vapers who don't care about the presence of diacetyl in their e-liquids because they love custard and other creamy flavors and are willing to take the risk. It's their right. Just like it should be my right to be informed by juice manufacturers if their eliquids contain diacetyl and other diketones.

For me, it's about full disclosure--nothing else.
