nautilus with the BVC is better. I haven't tried to BDC, but everyone says that the flavor and vapor production with the BVC is better than the BDC. I've used both the Nautilus and the Protank 3 and prefer the Nautilus. The Nautilus has the adjustable air control so you can adjust it to your preference.

I haven't tried my Nautilus yet but I have several protanks (to rotate flavors) and they get the job done. I'm still very new to vaping though and have no basis for comparison until I try the Nautilus. (I've been saving it for my Nicoticket juices which are due on Monday so I'd better clean it this weekend!)

I also intend to buy some eleaf GS Air tanks.

Depends who your buying it for.
Nautilus may be better for someone going for more vapor better air flow.
I recently bought a protank mini 3 for someone because they like a tad tighter draw , plus my nautilus for me was too finicky.
Was good, but tightening the coils or the base on too loose or tight caused issues.

Though still waiting for the protank mini to arrive.

I started out using the protank 2 and 3. Then I went out and got the nautilus BVC and couldn't be happier. So much better imo. Tank will last me all day without having to refil and I feel like the coils last much longer. I have 5 pro tanks and 2 nautilus and I only been using my nautilus. I had lots of problems with the pro tanks. So glad I went with the nautilus because I was getting aggravated.

Nautilus for straight to lung. Protank 3 for mouth to lung. The airflow is tighter on the PT3.

How can it be any tighter than the Nautilus on the smallest airflow setting? You can barely get air through that as it is.

And I wouldn't suggest a Nautilus for straight lung hits either. You can do it, but it's definitely not made for it. The airflow is too restrictive, even on the largest hole.

Have you ever actually used a Nautilus, or done straight lung hits?

Actually you can do straight lung hits with the Nautilus...the trick is to not to wrap your lips tightly around the drip tip. By having the drip tip just touching your lips, you are basically increasing the airflow because now not only are you drawing air through the Nautilus, you are also drawing air through the space between your lips and the drip tip.
