I’ve been away from vaping for a couple years now. I’m wanting to get back to it as a means to quit smoking. I ordered an Eleaf pico and an Aspire nautilus as I’ve had both in the past. Is there a better alternative to the nautilus nowadays? I prefer mouth to lung, but is not a must as long as there is a lot of flavor.

There's the Innokin Zenith tank 22mm or 23mm or Zlide ( VAPECRAWLER10 for 10% off of $19.95) You can swap coils with a full tank, and coils last ages Both have awesome flavour. Aspire also have the Nautilus N2s tank.

Thanks for the info. So the original Nautilus is less flavorful than these? I remember the Nautilus as being an eye opener for me when it came to flavor.

I've only tried the Nautilus X, and I did enjoy the zenith more than that.

I think the main improvement in the nautlius line is easier coil swapping, top fill, and possibly better flavour - but there will be someone more knowledgeable than me who can let you know about this.

The Nautilus was absolutely groundbreaking in its day and for a long time thereafter, but it does seem to have been supplanted by the Zenith/Zlide. There are more recent versions of the Nautilus (the Nautilus 2S is the latest) that have top fill and other updated features.

For what it's worth, I find I prefer the Zenith. The flavour's a little better and it's generally more convenient. The downside is that you can't take the glass out of the tank to clean it.

The Pico's also a little dated, but there's not much wrong with it. Oh, except that the battery cap blocks larger tanks and might interfere with the Zenith (but not the Zlide). I don't think there is a standard recommendation for a one battery mod at the moment, but perhaps someone else will be along with a suggestion before long. My preference, the Jac Vapour Series B, is (tragically) not shipping to North America at the moment.

Man I'm sorry for the late arrival. If you get any Nautilus get the N2S it's everything the N2 should have been but isn't.

I have much mad love for the Zenith too, both finally have mesh coils for MTL and in my opinion the best coil for the zenith is the 1.6 and I hated the mesh (it was fine until the flavor died off in a few days, could have been a bad coil) but SUPER airy and really in some ways less traditionally MTL,

The Nautilus mesh coil is similarly "more" airy although you can vape it closed down. I like it for flavor, honestly probably the most of the coils (although I am more than happy with the 1.6 or 1.8 too.)

Benefits of Zenith LARGE capacity with good flavor, top fill is super easy and innovative and it's built like a TANK. You can't even strip your threads because they are built into the MOSTER coils.

It is a fantastic tank . The N2S is prettier, nicely designed with an also fairly innovative topfill system, less capacity 2.6 but it's not a juice drinker. It's less tank like but the design elements are really lovely. I think the Zenith is ugly as sin personally, but I (like everyone else) am not buying it specifically for its LOOKS but for it's super great vape and many options.

Unless you are going to get both, I can't really tell you what to do but they are both excellent tanks in their own ways. For durability and just "I can do it it" (except for mesh and I vaped one coil, to be fair I could have gotten a dud) the zenith has the edge.

For the mesh coil, looks and well, some how (in my mind) more traditional MTL vaping the N2S is great.

But, I don't really think you'd go wrong with either. Just don't go with the original N2. It's not a bad tank but the N2S is SO MUCH BETTER.

    Good luck deciding.

I have the Zenith and the N2s (TPD versions) - both are excellent.

Just to add to what Anna said about the Zenith mesh coils - there are actually 2 out now, a 0,48 and a 0.5. The 0.5 one isn't great but I'm using the 0.48 one and I'm really liking it.

I usually recommend the Zenith as it's my preference - however as you mention you like DL the N2s is a little more versatile in that respect - it has an Airflow setting for 'wide open' and with one of the low ohm coils you can do both (although as it's primarily an MTL tank it's better for that...)

This video shows some guys testing the tank for DL vaping at about the 16 minute mark which you might find useful if you like both styles of vaping
