I have a nautilus Mini(All Day vape)(mouth to lung hit) and a Atlantis(When Im Feeling Cloudy)(direct lung hit)..............I love Aspire products they seem to work flawlessly and serve the purpose I use them for......but I checked out the Kanger Nano that my buddy has and it seems that it would replace both my Nauti and Atlantis because of the 1.2ohm coil which I could use for everyday vape(mouth to lung) and the 0.5ohm coil for when im feeling cloudy(direct lung hit)..........any advice on if I should look into investing in the Kanger Nano......also I did notice a much improved taste in flavor(Cotton Candy 3ml 50/50) when vaping on the Nano versus when it was vaped on the Nauti or the Atlantis..........

Aspire versus Kanger is like trying to decide between Mercedes and BMW. It all comes down to the person deciding. Whereas you found improved flavor with the Subtank Nano versus the Nautilus or the Atlantis, my perception is that the Nautilus provides more flavor than my Subtank Mini.

Thanks for the advice......I think I will defiantly stick with the Aspire products since that is what I started with.........and since you said comparing the two are like deciding between a Mercedes and BMW......to me that means they are both great quality products........I also like the fact that the Aspire coils have 4 holes in them for an increased liquid vaporization versus Kanger's two hole coils.......

I'm not so sure about mouth to lung with the ST nano. (1.2ohm)

I've been trying for a month now, it's a no go. I find it impossible. Too much air and vapor, too quick... I can't get to even 3 seconds with a shut down airflow and Kayfun drip tip.

Still... you might be able to make it work. :)

so in other words a mouth to lung hit is a no go even on with the 1.2ohm coils....unless you have blowfish lungs.......lol......lol

It's really all in the coil; I'm pretty sure you have a few options on the coil side with the aspire; there are supposed to be BDC coils as well as BVC coils;
since you already have aspire tanks, I'd say stick with the aspire; if you get a kanger tank too, then you'd have to get another set of coils;

if you do get a kanger, I wouldn't get the nano, but get the mini or full size with the rba head; or then again maybe aspire will put out an rba head soon.(hopefully)

Yeah, I'm a mouth to lung hitter, but I bought a subtank mini along with my iStick 50 just to have one tank that I can chuck clouds with if I want. It's been sitting there waiting for me for 4 days and I finally got it going this afternoon. I can make it work acceptably for mouth to lung with a restricting drip tip on one air hole or the tip that came with it on like half a hole opened.

As for the lung hits, I guess 18mg liquid is too much because it closes my throat half way through the draw and I end up coughing. The only other lung hit I did was on someone else's 6 mg juice and I had no problems, though I'll still always be a moth to lunger.

Is there anything better than a Nautilus for the best mouth to lung experience?

18 is way to high for lung inhale IMO. I think however that the sub tank has the potential to be one of the best (mouth to lung tanks), because you can build coils to your liking and set the airflow. However, that may be a lot of trial and error and a huge pain. I would actually recommend a Kfun or Russian 91%. both are pretty good for what you are looking for, but a bit of a pain to build coils on.

When I tried using the Subtank Mini (I'm also a mouth to lung vaper), I just could never find a setting that I was happy with. The draw was just way too airy for me. If I set it to the lowest air opening, the air transfer was just too slow and the vapor would be way too warm and it would start to taste burnt (I would use it around 15-18 watts). If I tried to turn down the power so it would not be as warm or taste burnt (down to around 9 or 10 watts) while using the tighter air opening, then it would pop and spit at me right around the 2 second mark and it wouldn't produce much vapor at all.

I stopped using the Subtank and now I am using the Nautilus. I am perfectly happy with it even at the widest air opening and my iStick set at around 11-12 watts. Lots of cool vapor and flavor even if I "double vape" and do a 4 or even 5 second draw.

Thanks guys, I bought it knowing I probably wouldn't like it, but now I can say I own one sub-ohm tank, so it's all good.

Yeah, jseah, my experience pretty much mirrors yours. Like I say, I can work around it, but using a tank that isn't suited to one's style is pointless since there are lots of options no matter how you inhale. Guess I'll get a couple of Nautilus tanks. Looking at the mini but the 2ml capacity is too small, I think.

Though you know what? I'm pretty darn happy with the 3.5mL NBC Tanks I'm using now. I'd just like some air flow control and glass instead of plastic.

Then go with the full size Nautilus. The full size is 5ml, but it doesn't really seem that big. If you look at my avatar pic, it is a Nautilus Mini on the iStick 30 and a Nautilus on the iStick 50. The width of the tank is pretty close, but the Nautilus is much taller. I don't vape a whole lot, so when using exclusively the Nautilus Mini, I fill up once in the morning and a second time in the afternoon. With the 2 ml capacity and refilling it when it reaches 0.5 ml, that gets me to the 3ml a day that I vape.

Heh, your avatar tells me pretty much all I need to know! No, the capacity thing is partly a personal quirk of mine in that, for some inexplicable reason, I will not allow my tank to get lower than about a third full. :shrug:

Thanks jseah!
