Aspire pod cube for a friend

My friend just bought Aspire Pod AVP Cube and I've been reading on it so I can help her. It's her first vape and she is quite a heavy smoker.
I'm sure I can help her with juices and nic level and all that, what I don't know is what to tell her about coils. One choice for this vape is .65 mesh coil, works in bypass mode on 16W I think. I read and read about mesh vs single wire, and I'm getting more and more confused. Is mesh better for mtl or for dl? What do I tell her?
I want to help her start now that she finally wants to switch but I don't know enough.
She is mtl oriented, she tried dl and hated it.

A .65 mesh coil is going to be more towards DTL. But you never know with pod coils...it's worth trying it. If the device comes with 1.0 or 1.2 ohm or thereabouts, that would probably be better.

You can use either coil that came with the device for MTL, just adjust the air flow accordingly. I would suggest either the 2 or 4 hole airflow for MTL vaping.
