just received this new tank.
The top just will not be budged to remove so I can fill. I see from google I am not the first person to encounter this issue. This tank has never had juice in it.
Is there anything short of pliers that will solve this? I am thinking of just returning to vendor.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks.

Try rubber gloves, or a rubber mat to increase friction without more force. Could try running it under hot water to see if that loosens things. You can get a smaller version of the rubber gripper things for opening hard to open lids, those seem to work well for a lot of folks.

Good luck, I think there are things you can try before warrantying it, but if you absolutely can't budge it, I suppose it's an option.

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
I use the grocery store rubber jar openers. I have also ruined a tank or two with pliers if the silly thing remained recalcitrant after the rubber thingys. That doesn't bother me, really. If it won't open when I tell it to, it should get ruined. It's kinda like looking for a lost golf ball. Never look for a lost golf ball: if it'll hide on you once, it'll do it again. Instead, let it rot wherever it is hiding itself. Somebody else will find it, and you'll have made their day with a free golf ball. And you'll also have the last laugh because the damn thing will hide on them too.

Welcome to the board...

Before you waste too much money seriously consider a RTA. Aspire coils just do not last. Do not blame your vape shop. Do not blame your online seller. DO NOT order direct from Aspire. Weasels is best one word description for the company. When I have the time I will post on Aspire, for now just a word of warning, do not trust them.

The new Berserker is a good RTA. And a good price. Just bottom fill and save yourself the hassle. But you may be looking for something not as tight a draw. I am still new myself, so still in the process of researching and testing. But Aspire, not a very nice company.

Don't know about Aspire as a company, but in my experience, they make tanks that DO NOT leak! I have over ten of their various tanks and not a one of them has ever leaked a drop.

I have 5 Triton Mini's. The suggestions above are spot on. Rubber gripper, and pliers on top of that, if it still wont come off.

I've had no leaking problems. Some coils lasting only a couple of days before that nasty burnt coil issue is the problem I have with Aspire.

Agreed but it's not just Aspire. I had the same issue with other prebuilt coils. As soon as I moved to doing my own coils the issue went away. As an example, I'm on the same coil for 10 weeks so far. Have only rewicked twice.

For threads, could scrape on some candle wax.
For O-rings: could coat with a toothpick dab of petroleum jelly.

I have had that same problem with getting the top off of an Aspire tank. It might take some time and usage for it to loosen up to where you aren't fighting to get it off.

I love Aspire products. Have several tanks and a couple of mods and I think they consistently make some of the best stuff on the market. Can't go wrong, IMO.

I was on a rant about Aspire, I swore I would never buy another Aspire product again, even if I did really like the Nautilus. Then I discovered clone coils at $3 a pack of 5. Can't say each and every one is perfect because I am only on my second one, and the first one was still working ok after a month. I also checked out a tank clone. An exact match, the only difference was the drip tip had a tiny spur on the inner hole on the tank end. That just is not an issue, and for $10 including shipping it is cheaper than getting replacement parts.
