Picked ones of these up today along with the rta kit.
Now let me start off by saying that I'm an rda enthusiast. My Wotofo Cubed Atty was, and still is, a mainstay for me and I use it exclusively. The airflow is wide open (huge!) and the flavor is top notch. On that note, I know what I want and what I should expect out of an atty when using the Wotofo as a reference guide. I'm telling you, if you enjoy RDA's then this particular one will not disappoint. At least in my case.
With that out of the way, how does the flavor and vapor production of the Triton V2 compare? Well, I was quite surprised how good the airflow is on the V2. For being a tank, it's non-restrictive and makes for a comfortable vape. But at the same time you can still tell you're vaping off a tank. Much better airflow than the Subtank. I give it an 8.5/10.
Flavor wise, it's great. Yet, since I use my RDA exclusively, it still tastes like I'm vaping out of a tank. I don't know how to explain it, it's like a mechanical quality. In my opinion, no matter what the tank is, I feel like it hinders the flavor performance due to the smaller diameter chimney and chamber. Unlike RDA's, the airflow isn't hitting the coils directly, which makes a difference and etc in flavor. Maybe that's where the UD Bellus comes in handy. Still, it's better than a Subtank. Some juices react better with different tanks as well. My Ruthless Grape Drank tastes awful in my Subtank, is the best in my RDA, and tastes quite good in the Triton V2. I use this juice all the time in my RDA, which is where it tastes the best at. In the Triton V2, it's very comparable. I'm still hitting the same notes of flavor for the most part. For this, I give it an 8.5/10.
So why did I choose the Triton V2 over a UD Goblin, Zephyrus, Mutation X RTA, and etc? Availability, for the most part. I wanted an RTA with a top fill design, ease of use, high build quality. Most of all, I wanted something that wouldn't leak. Plus it looks cool. I remember my first tank, the Atlantis V1. While it had what is considered now some short comings, that little tank never let me down for what it was.
Overall, I give the Triton V2 a 9.5/10.
