    Aspire Zelos 3 & nautilus 3 Kit.
I received this new Kit from aspirecig in exchange for my honest evaluation.
    Enjoy the reading.

The cardboard packaging with the classic white / orange colors shows on the front the Aspire brand, the color indication (Gunmetal in my case), the image of the Kit and the motto "Innovate The Way You vape".

On the back side we find; a brief mention on Aspire's activities in the world of vaping, the contents of the package, some warnings, the address of Shenzhen Eigate Technology Co, Ltd, finally in the form of icons the social groups of the brand.

The name of the product and the color of the sample in question are repeated on the sides of the box. We also find; a batch number, scratch and check, logos and legal marks in the form of icons.

    Zelos 3 Kit First Impressions:
Considering the large built-in 3,200mAh battery this kit can be defined as compact in size and with a "modern" design that combines the soft lines of the handle with the angular but rounded parts of the front. What you immediately notice is the great structural solidity, the colors available are rather sober. The 0.96 "color display interfaces with the Aspire ASP chipset with variable power and many other modes. Interesting and convenient is the Switch button located under the mod that allows you to quickly turn on / off the device.

Aspire Zelos 3 kit is equipped with the highly anticipated 24mm and 4ml capacity Aspire Nautilus 3 Tank. The Nautilus 3 is compatible with all Nautilus and triton Mini series coils. It uses an advanced anti-leakage system to allow you to replace the coil even with the tank full of liquid! The airflow is individually adjustable with seven inlet holes ranging from 0.8 to 3mm. My first impressions of this Tank are extremely favorable this is definitely the most advanced and best made Nautilus of all time.

    5.jpg

Ultimately the dimensions are more than acceptable, comparable to those of a mod 18650, Zelos 3 Kit has a weight of about 220g distributed in a balanced way and in the hand it is well balanced it transmits sensations of robustness and ergonomics.

Zelos 3 Mod, how it's made:

The fusion of zinc alloy and satin aluminum return a classic and at the same time elegant look without excess. The only writing "Zelos 3" is small and arranged vertically on one side of the mod. The recess between the square front and the round back create a rather ergonomic area to accommodate the fingertips.

    8.jpg

    Display:
The 0.96 "TFT color screen has bold fonts albeit quite small, all the essential information you need to customize your vape is present through different options, 5 output modes, 5 screen background color options , adjustable brightness and puff counter with reset.

At the top the Fire button is rectangular in shape, comfortable and large enough to be reached, the Up / down adjustment buttons are located at the bottom above the USB-C charging socket, both the Up / Down buttons and the socket USB are well placed and conveniently usable.

    9.jpg

The back of the Mod has the same round shape of a tube, so you create an excellent grip feeling with the fingers that are inserted into the aforementioned recess.

    Thread 510:
On the top of the mod there are two torx screws and a slightly raised 510 cup to avoid scratches when screwing / unscrewing the Tanks.
The gold / plated pin is spring loaded and the thread thread is sliding. On the Zelos 3 Mod you can install tanks with a diameter up to 28mm without any protrusion.

The lower part of the mod for conformation offers a large footprint on the ground making this device very stable once positioned.
On this surface we find; two torx screws, three vent holes, the C E mark, the disposal logo.
One of the peculiarities of this mod is the presence of the switch button which is housed in a small recess in a sheltered position, the switch is marked with "On" and "Off".
Personally I like using the switch button a lot more than the usual "5 clicks" to turn the mod on off.

    Nautilus 3 tank:

Aspire seems to have made considerable efforts to increase the efficiency and comfort of the new Nautilus 3 Tank, starting from the ease of refilling with the precise and well-braked Top-cap "slide" opening, up to the innovative coil change system called "press-fit" which makes the replacement of the resistance extremely quick and safe even in the presence of liquid in the tank.

    12.jpg

The "massive" SS construction of this tank offers higher quality than the excellent nautilus GT. With the Nautilus 3 a further step forward has been taken I'm sure!

    13.jpg

    Air Flow:

Nautilus 3 has an adjustable AFC ring with end stops with a knurled surface for good finger grip.
Multiple AFC adjustments are possible, the diameter of the holes to adjust the passage of air towards the coil is: 3.0, 2.5, 1.8, 1.5, 1.2, 1.0 and 0.8mm, this system with holes compared to a slot system guarantees for the MTL vape a smoother and more precise air path.

    14.jpg

In the images below we can see the bottom of the atom, next to the top-cap with "slide" opening for refilling e-liquids.
On the right in the image you can see the Deck which has an externally threaded collar to connect with the upper part of the tank having an internal thread.
The coil must simply be positioned between the base and the tank, then the base must be screwed to the tank.

    15.jpg

    Antileaking valve:
A "valve" bulkhead system rises inside the tank when the coil is inserted, while during the extraction of the coil the valve is lowered, preventing liquid from escaping.

    16.jpg

    Compatible coils:
Inside the package there are two coils; a classic 1.8Ω BVC coil with 10-14W range for a restricted MTL type use and a modern 0.7Ω Nautilus 2 Mesh Col with 20-25W range for MTL / RDL use, excellent for creamy and fruity liquids.
Of course, full compatibility with all previous resistors remains for Nautilus and Triton Mini.

    Final conclusions:
During this review and in the description of the product you have been able to read what are my visual and tactile impressions, so to conclude let's move on to the impressions of use.
    - Zelos 3 Mod is a Box equipped with ASP circuit undoubtedly one of the best chipsets for reliability and performance among the cheap mods. The "switch" key greatly simplifies the switching off operations avoiding false coil activations and leaves the field to a more simplified navigation.
The management of the 3,200 mAh battery is remarkable, especially if you use the mod in MTL. With the resistance from 0.7 to 20W I managed to make over 600 puffs. It takes approximately 120 minutes to fully charge the 2A battery.

    - Tank Nautilus 3 is a decisive step forward compared to all previous Nautilus Tanks, it maintains the excellent performance of the Nautilus GT both in MTL and RDL, however it is more solid, robust and evolved! The "press-fit" antileaking system works very well and makes coil changes very fast without spilling a single drop of liquid. The capacity of 4ml is more than abundant even without using an unsightly convex glass.

I really liked the Nautilus 3 and the Zelos 3 Mod has good features too, so I think the Kit is a great starting tool.
    Thanks for reading.

Thanks to Aspire for sending me the product for free in exchange for my honest evaluation.
