Zelos Nano Kit by Aspire is new project for MTL vaping. The kit includes a 1600mAh Zelos Nano mod and the Nautilus Nano tank. In addition to the recent 1.0Ω Nautilus Mesh Coil and precise airflow adjustment, this starter kit is small and ergonomic and offers excellent performance for a smooth and flavorful vaping experience.

The packaging in the classic white / orange colors of Aspire, shows the front; The name of the brand, an indication on the color of the kit in the form of an adhesive sticker, the embossed image of the kit, the name of the kit and the slogan "Innovate the way you vape".

► First impressions:
For this test I received the kit version in Rose Gold color combined with the Nautilus Nano Tank SS, surely the female public will appreciate. Very sober and elegant "classic" colors are also available for all users; men, women, young and old.

The body of Zelos Nano mod with teardrop form factor is premium aluminum alloy; it has been polished, sandblasted and anodized with a multilayer procedure, to obtain a pleasant appearance with high-level, high-resistance finishes. In addition to providing a pleasant touch, its compact size contributes to exceptional portability.

The Nautilus Nano tank in stainless steel with certified pyrex glass is an improved re-edition in a modern key of a legendary tank (Nautilus Mini) that has satisfied and satisfied many users in the world over the years. The stainless steel tank is equipped with a nice Drip tip made of special anti-burn POM material and offers the refill from the top and the best AFC adjustments for a quality MTL Vape.

In the details of the front we find; the slightly protruding on / off button, oval-shaped, made of plastic and black. The led below indicates the current state of charge of the battery.
The last button at the bottom is the one for selecting the power (low, medium, high) and interfaces with the 3 LEDs above it.

The bottom of the Mod has a matte and satin finish while the top one contrasts nicely having been mirror polished.

The Mod at the top houses a steel cup with 510 thread and spring loaded pin, on the bottom there are; four safety vent holes, USB-C socket for charging, built-in battery capacity indication (1,600mAh), place of production, legal trademarks & logos.

► Aspire Nautilus Nano Tank:
As I have already mentioned Nautilus Nano with its φ19mm of width and its 2ml of capacity seems to me the modern restyling of the legendary Nautilus Mini, a must never forgotten by long-time vaper's around the world. This new nautilus compared to its progenitor (Mini) offers top refilling, a much more precise and draft resistant AFC bezel, greater overall structural solidity and a rather interesting new Mesh-Coil for MTL that we will see later.
The tank is completely removable for a thorough cleaning of the parts.

The top-cap is equipped with a knurled ring, however the grip surface for the fingers is very thin, I recommend tightening the underlying part well to prevent the entire block from unscrewing during refueling operations. The refill slots are large and allow easy filling even with bottles with a bulky spout.
On the bottom of the Tank are present; a gold-plated fixed pin, insulated and not very protruding, with various laser-marked information around it.

► Aspire Nautilus Nano; AFC System:
The diameter of the air intake holes can be adjusted to "None", "φ0.8", "φ1.0", "φ1.2" and "φ1.6" from left to right, to meet the needs of the most users. The precise regulation of the air flow brings added value to this tank with a minimal appearance but very effective in MTL use.

► Aspire Nautilus Nano; Coil's:
The tank comes with a new 1.0Ω Nautilus Mesh Coil and a classic 1.8Ω Nautilus Coil, however the entire range of resistors made by Aspire for all versions of Nautilus and Triton Mini is compatible with the Nautilus Nano. This is one of the great advantages of using Aspire products which have a great diffusion with consequent easy availability of spare parts.

► Operation Guide and Indicator Light Status:
• Turn on / off: Press the Fire Button 5 times, the LED flashes white 3 times
• Battery level: <3.5V (0-30%) the LED flashes red
• Battery level: Between 3.5V and 3.8V (30-60%) the LED flashes blue
• Battery level: Between 3.8V and 4.2V (60-100%) the LED flashes green

► Power level:
The circuit offers automatic recognition of the inserted resistance, therefore by inserting the 1.0Ω coil we can vary the power on 3 steps; 13, 14, 15W. By inserting the 1.8Ω resistor we can vary the power on 3 steps; 9, 10, 11W.
• When the wattage is low, the bottom light will turn on for 3 seconds.
• When the wattage is at medium level, the bottom and middle lights will be on for 3 seconds.
• When the wattage is at high level, all three lights will be on for 3 seconds;
* Note: Press the power adjustment button once to show the current power level; press the power adjustment button once more to adjust the power to a different level.

► Safety features:
• Cut-off Protection (10s): The LED light flashes red and blue 10 times and the device turns off
• Short circuit protection: The LED light flashes red and blue 3 times
• Low voltage protection: The LED light blinks red 15 times
• Overload Protection: The device automatically stops charging
• Overheat Protection: The LED light stays yellow for 3 seconds and then the device turns off
• Overvoltage Protection: The device turns off and stops charging when the voltage is higher than 6.0V.

► Final conclusions:
The Zelos Nano Mod is well finished and comfortable to carry, the 1,600mAh battery guarantees the autonomy necessary to cover a whole day without having to recharge, or at least I think it is so for the vast majority of vaper's. The battery recharges quickly in about 30-40 minutes, the circuit constantly manages the battery voltage from start to finish.

The small 19mm diameter Nautilus Nano Tank has a well designed AFC with a knurled rotating ring that holds the set position well, accurate in the tightened MTL adjustment without pressure drop, up to a slightly open MTL vape type by selecting the largest holes .

The new 1.0Ω Mesh-Coil turns out to be a pleasant novelty, the result of countless tests and years of study for optimal performance according to Aspire with tobacco-type liquids. This resistance is very balanced in the release of heat from the steam, an ideal aromatic meeting point between 0.7Ω and 1.8Ω but also extremely reactive to the Fire key, with very fluid and regular delivery thanks perhaps also to the anti-spitting network of which she's talented.

Having made my considerations and at the end of this interesting Test I feel fully satisfied and I am in line with what Aspire stated in the presentation of the product. Zelos Nano and Nautilus Nano are both very effective, together they make up an easy-to-use entry level kit that contains everything you need to win the battle against smoking, so I would recommend this purchase with absolute certainty.
