At McDonalds Today

So I was standing in line at McDonalds having a puff here and there, getting crusty looks from the 2 men in front of me. Then a couple comes in stinking of cigarette smoke, and the guy in front of me says "Not trying to be an ....... but I can smell that, you can't smoke in here!" I was stunned for a moment, not sure what to think because I was puffing a 25% english toffee mix that everyone I asked said smells just a hair like marshmallows. I asked him "What's it smell like?" He says "you smell like a damn ashtray", and bumping into me at the shoulder stormed out of the place. I don't smell like an ashtray, I haven't had a cigarette in 4 months, and everyone around said they didn't smell anything. The point is when the other couple came in he mistook the odor off of them and attached it to me because visually I looked like I was smoking. (The stinky couple wants a kit now. lol)

LOL Very nice! I don't trust their meat to try that burger. But pretty cool.

Goes to show that some folks will associate vaping with smoking because they don't know, or don't care to know, any different. Which is too bad. Sounds like he was just waiting for an excuse to 'bust you' for smoking and the ashtray couple gave it to him.

So after reading this I went to Micky D's. I pulled out my Prodigy and vaped in there. No-one said anything but they stared. I don't know if they knew what I was doing.

I went to the casino last night. I was vaping the whole time. I was there for a few hours playing tables, and I had at least 20 people ask "what is that?" A couple of people (mainly the dealers) were asking " is that an electronic cigarette?" Pretty much all of the smokers wanted to know everything about them. One guy asked me "is that a pen or a cigarette?" ( i have the pen style) That made me laugh.

A couple of people said they were going to get one the next day. The non smokers seemed a little baffled by it and didn't ask much more after a quick explaination from me.

I think its amazing how many people don't know what these are, and when told they really want one. The people that didn't say anything, just stared a lot. I have to say though, its really hard to play blackjack when your trying to explain to the whole table what your puffing on.

I am to scared to try vaping in public enclosed places with strangers.

I have so far shown everyone down at the barn my e cig and I have gotten nothing but huge support and well wishes. I would think so as the entire reason I finally stopped smoking was due to constant reminders each day on how bad smoking tobacco cigs are. I board my horse in a barn with thirty other boarders and only one of them besides me smoked cigs.

I finally cracked and decided to find something else to do. I found the e cigs and I am so happy.

I went for dinner tonight but was to shy to even attempt to pull out my titan and use it. I feel like someone is going to run over and tell me to .... out.

I was shy at first too, but I stopped worrying about it. Now i'll use it anywhere aside from places with bouncers (no time to talk b4 I get bounced)

Just always remember: You have every right to vape anywhere you please, as long as there isn't a no vaping policy. Other people also hold the right to kick you out of their establishment.

I showed/demonstrated it to my onchologist last week, she had me demonstrate it to another pt and family of hers. I was waiting for a tongue lashing, so was quite surprised. We went out for a drink and supper in one of the establishments in Fargo, ND. No one said anything when I used my 510.
