At my Wicks end

I have been using Ego T ecigs for some time. I recently got a new cartonizer from a web site and when I used it, it had (and still has) a very odd taste. I noticed the wick looked different from the wick in my other cartonizers.
So my Question is...are there different types of wicks and do they taste different.
I hope someone can help.....

I don't know about the eGo-T specifically but.. There are different kinds of wicking material. Silica and cotton are 2 more common ones. Which are used in yours I have no idea. I have only every used silica. But I have been told by others that you can get slightly different tastes from different wicking materials. I hope this helps and someone more knowledgeable than me chimes in for you soon.

I think , by looking at it its silicone. But I am not sure. Are there fiberglass too?????I think I heard it said on a youtube vid??

There's also poly fill which is like what is in pillows and blankets, but that usually wicks onto a seperate silica wick which the coil is wrapped around
