I'm with mark on this. I've been using the DCT for about 2 months now and here's what I've discovered.

1), PREFILL and wait. I mean like wait 30 minutes before applying voltage. Even one dry burn and you run a very high risk of ruining your cart.

2), Keep the flow hole open. These things have a center hole that allows the air to pass through. About 3 or 4 times a day, I'll run an 18ga needle (got mine for $2 from hoosier) right up through the center. You'll feel (and see) the crud building up inside. I've got a carto on my buzz that has been going for over a week now. Once the crud builds up too much, the carto will clog and it's done.

3), Keep it wet. I know this kind of negates the whole "tank" thing, but don't be afraid to redrip it. The basic fact is, once the side hole in the cart gets clogged, it won't wick anymore juice from the tank, I use an unbent staple or a sewing needle to free up the hole. Don't jam it all the way in, maybe 1/16" of an inch and basically just unclog the feed hole. If air ain't coming out, juice ain't going in.

4), I haven't tried this yet, but I'm going out today to get some... Denture Cleaners. They're like long strands of fat dental floss. I've seen these used on youtube and it seems like they work to get the gunk out of the coils.

5) I've had hit and miss success with cleaning. It seems that cleaning these out before they completely fail is best. Once they get to the point of being completely clogged, in my experience, they're done. I've had a few that I've resurrected by boiling, but only if the center hole was still clear.

That's what I've discovered. Hope it helps.

I've gone back to my chibi tanks from parks vaping, they seem to seal the best and thus far I've only had 1 leak on me, the only problem I have is as a chain vapor it doesn't feed fast enough, solution? I keep 3 or 4 filled and ready to go so I can just swap em around.

I've never ran a needle up the air-hole never seemed to get clogged, maybe I'll have to try that.

Speaking of coils, where the heck ARE the coils on a carto? How would you get to them to clean them.

The coils are in the center of the cart, Clear-Dual-Coil-Cartomizer-for-E-Cigarettes-SMK-.jpg

Basically, if you look at the picture, (exploded view, no pun intended), the filler gets wrapped around the part you see.
