So I was taking my daughter for new shoes and spotted the mall kiosk e cig place. Just being nosy I went up to ask some questions. I said I was looking for my neighbor who is 81, and told him I already had a pv. Of course he asked which one, I said ego - he was like that's a new one, isn't it that really big one?
I pulled it out of my purse and he's like oh it's not as big as I thought. So he had 2 starter kits on display, one is approx 179 and the other (which he said women like better because its small, * wonder what he thought of me after showing him my 'monster' ego*) was 229. It's a 2 piece and I asked if the carts were refillable and his eyes almost popped out of his head, whilst shaking it no, no you can't do that.. Honestly he gave me not one good reason to buy his product. Only said don't order online because I'll give you a discount. No batt info, no warranty...nothing??? SMH
Anyway long story short, I'm sorry to say it's a complete rip off. You don't even get a wall charger and what I thought was worse was his high and mighty attitude wearing a crazy printed shirt that looked like a sponsored nascar puffing away with no visable vapor. It bothers me this is what most people think of when you say e-cig.
Just wanted to share.

Yeah Atchungbaby sounds like the same guy who sold me my first one: Two king batteries, a usb charger & two packs of cartos with his "great discount" for $268. "Trying to refill it would damage everything." Shoulda just had "SUCKER" tatoo'd on my forehead.

Really makes me angry that people think they've tried a PV just like mine. :-x

White Cloud right? I saw those at Westshore mall in Tampa. The kid didn't have a clue what he was selling..an 808 rebrand generic, No juice no wall chargers..just usb. And of course they can be refilled..it's a cartomizer for pete's sake!
At the Orlando mall they had a Smoking Everywhere kiosk. Rude and acted like I just said a dirty word when i asked if they had e-juice! he flat out said that refilling carts was dangerous! What for your bottom line?

LOL! I did that to the Smoking everywhere guy...he yelled and walked away. I grabbed some V4L and ECF cards (that I made) and stuffed them down in the boxes. Mike pulled me way before I could start passing them out to his customers.
Mike is like that..he is not embarrased..he just hates paying bail!

And just how many times has he had to pay bail?

ROTFL MK I'd love to go back to Tyrone Mall with you. I still have the two batteries.... and you guessed, yup, it's White Cloud. Wonder if we can get discount on bail for two. Our DHs could figure that out.

This is a perfect example of why I'd love to start a store/vaping lounge in our area. Got a good location if a bit small to start with, but lost my major financial backer recently. I can understand why quality vendors would rather not do a kiosk in the mall or a store in the flea market, but there has to be a better way to market to the impulse buyer without ripping them off.

I'm surprised this hasn't evolved into a home demonstration industry, like your famous namesake, MK, or tupperware and the like. I plan to do demo's in any campground/park we go to if I'm asked. DH has even talked about getting an extra set of things so we don't have everyone and their dog using our personal equipment. If I can save one person from smoking....

The mall guys have a lot of overhead, they have families to feed, no one is forced to buy and since they are still going strong I assume the market must be pleased with the product. Maybe their product is not as good as your modded battery, modded cart, DIY'ed juice but some folks may just like the convenience of stoppping in and buying off the shelf vs. a hobby. Let em be!

If their product was a "total ripoff" like some are claiming, mall management would bounce them out.
