There is an atheist TV show in Texas called the atheist experience. I found this funny clip on youtube (you can find more by typing in "atheist experince" in the search on youtube) this clip is great, and you can also go to thier website at atheist-experience.com

I have found these shows on you tube myself.I have watched so many I lost count.

I kind of believed most of my life until I really read the bible and thought about the whole thing.

I read the bible when I was a kid, my parents made me go to a sunday school and the sisters used to get mad at me for the questions I would ask. Like why does god want this guy to kill his own child, isn't that evil? How did Adam and Eve deal with dinosaurs? Why should we worry about our actions if God has it all planned out? Why is god such a .........? (Got smacked hard for that one but it was worth it) Funny thing is other kids started asking hard questions too after they started thinking about it. I decided very early on that I wasn't buying into their story, I may have been a kid but even I could see holes in the story. Fortunately my Dad dropped religion when the catholic church would not accept my mom because she had been divorced.

I think a lot of people just want to believe this and they are afraid to question because then they might have to come up with a good reason to keep believing.

Yeah it is certainly easier to lay all the problems you have at God's feet than to take responsibility for your own life. Oh it is God's will , god works in mysterious ways, blah blah blah turn off brain, blah

I also think it is the fact that they believe that their spirit will continue,after this life.The part about if you do not believe you will go to hell is what I think is stupid.If that were true and their god does not furnish some evidence for us to believe in it, then it is an evil god in my opinion.
