Are there pubs that accept vaping?

Lilian, it's a matter of approaching a bar owner/manager, explaining the ecig, and asking them directly if they would allow us to have a 'vape' meet in their establishment. The problem is that many people are still unaware of the ecigs and what they are, and also the controversy that surrounds them. Although ecigs do not fall into the non-smoking legislation (at least not yet in Nova Scotia, to my knowledge), those who witness it (without knowing what it is) may believe that it IS smoking and be offended by it. This is why we need to seek permission. That said, if they are any pubs/bars that you frequent and feel comfortable speaking to the manager/owner, please do so! Once we have a venue, we can then go ahead and plan another meet!

LOL... I'll chat with my buds Phil and Karen... mebbe we can have a meet on saturday afternoon at their shop its not a late night thing,but who said it has to be late night... middle of the day on a saturday is just as good as late night...

and yes, they're vape friendly.

I'm planning to hook up with some friends this weekend and do some swapping and oogling of gear... if you're in (no prizes no games just social) hit me up with a PM and i'll see what i can pull together... won't be fancy, just be people hanging out!

Haven't heard from them, so screw-em... I'm going to be at Tim Hortons at Young and Robie at about 1:00 give or take... i've had no issues vaping in there in the past...

i have a buddy of mine who's going to try to come...

i've heard from most of the people i PM'd and they all said that the were going to try to make it out...

its not an RSVP kinda event so if people show, they show, if they don't they dont...

me, i'm bringing all my juice so that i can trade it around for stuff i haven't tried or that i like and to let others taste the stuff that i have so they can mebbe pick some up...

gonna bring all my devices to show off as well,

more to follow in the coming days, but we're going to try to make it a habit of getting together at least once a month... not going down the "prizes and superplanned" events... just some friends and soon-to-be friends getting together to talk, trade and vape.

Makes more sense Jay. There was nothing wrong with our first meet, nor it's location. Toronto has 'em once a month and always at the same location. They are usually announced weeks in advance and usually fall on the 2nd Tues each month. Not saying we have to do these on Tues etc... Have you contacted the Lion's Head for the use of their patio in the summer. That is only a hop skip and a jump from Michael's.

A point of interest in NY they are cool with it (they probably have the most stringent regs there) providing you order something to eat = patrons

Hi everyone
I have some good news As you may have heard there is a new Russian cafe in Halifax(Laura's Cafe). I spoke today with the owner(yes, my first language is Russian, so of course it was easier for me to speak with someone the same language)). They would accept to vape there if we "rent" it. It would be a great opportunity to have our meeting and try some delicious Russian food. So, what do you say?
