Yeah, rental fee is definately an issue...
having said that, if their definition is merely that we be paying customers, then I have no issue with that... what company would want to encourage freeloading...
definatley want to get a meet together after christmas... january is looking good, just need to see how the schedule works out.

I will ask. If I remember right, it depends on what you order. How many people would come?
Cool beans. One thing might be offered to the proprietor is that we are seeking a venue for a monthly meet (read on a slow night) 5-6 vapers and more is not a bad thing for a business. That is why TO have them on a Tues night. Even every 2nd month would be a good thing. Another thing to point out, there was nothing wrong with our last venue, if that is still available.
I am afraid 5-6 won't be enough to "rent" it... Still waiting for an answer from them.
The onyl reason I said 5-6 because that is all we were at the last one. A vape meet is 10-15 in Canada, even TO.
My bf and I would come out to this, we're in NS. Looking forward to more info.
yeah, lets start thinking about doing this again... mebbe in early to mid-February... get as many together for the meet as possible... mebbe someone could talk to a bunch of vendors and see about getting door prizes... If we can come up with a timing that works, i can talk to the guys at Michaels again and see if we can't get the Keith's Room again.
I can't coordinate this, i've got 3 projects on the go right now on top of my daily routine and hosting requirements... but if someone wanted to step up to this, i'd be game to help out.

It needn't be complicated, just talk to the owner and get a date. If the date is posted well in advance (more than 30 days) then it is up to folks to show up. Wrt door prizes ect... is that really necessary? This is a local meet not Vapercon etc... Although people like winning stuff, I believe it is the camaraderie and exchange of pleasantries that we seek

and Switched did have a great idea... not that this is all about me, but my 1 year Vapeversary (i consider that from my smokefree date) is on the 11th of February, its a saturday...
everyone wanna start planning for a get together for Feb 11th? I'll figure out a place, and time, though we can plan for roughly 7pm till we get bored... if you're from out of town... post here and we'll see what we can do for helping you out... my couch is already booked ATM but i'm sure that someone might be able to help you find a place to crash.
