Yes it will work fine. I have both an original Atlantis and v2 and am using the updated coils in both. Cool thing is putting the updated coil in the original Atlantis is an upgrade by itself. The new coil as four airflow channels and the old coil had two. This increases the airflow in the original Atlantis when it is set to max airflow. I have gotten no dry hits on either.

I love the new coils, and the Atlantis 2 tank as well. Only downside is they really suck juice. For cloud and flavor this Atlantis two is as close to or perhaps better than anything I have built on either my dark horse or mutation v3.

I tried out the Atlantis 2 .3 ohm coil on the Atlantis 1 and didn't care for it. It throws the balance off because of the bigger juice openings and bigger airflow at bottom of the coil but no increased airflow settings on the Atlantis 1 like the Atlantis 2 has to match this coil. The vape was also too hot for me with less flavor, just not my kind of vape. As far as I'm concerned the Atlantis 1 and matching Atlantis 1 coils is a perfect match in every way. I vape the .5 ohm coil at 35 watts and nothing has matched it for flavor with very respectable vapor production. I'll have to try the Atlantis 2 .5 ohm coil but I have a feeling the balance might still be off for the same reasons. IMO the .3 ohm Atlantis 2 coil is definitely not for the Atlantis 1 as it's not designed to handle the extra heat at high wattages. It just doesn't have nearly enough air flow to do so. Hell you have to give that .3 ohm coil 70 watts just to wake it up. You want to use the .3 ohm coil, get the Atlantis 2. My two cents and as everyone knows, taste buds vary and I can only speak for mine.
