Atlantis coil head stuck?

Hello I am new to vaping (one month) and I just purchased a sleeve of new coil heads (0.5). But I had accidentally gotten some 0.3 heads and they didn't fit, was able to exchange them for the 0.5 and the new one will not screw all the way in and gets stuck when trying to remove it.
Did the 0.3's damage the rook piece or is it just a dud 0.5?
any help is appreciated.

Eww... Cross-threaded maybe? They should screw in pretty easy. It may have damaged the threads.

I also just found out that it is a V2 0.5 coil, I have read that they (v2's) do not work in the the original?

The coils are cross compatible, you might have messed up threads in your Atlantis.

No you didn't they work fine in the Ver.1 Atlantis

I've gotten a few products that just weren't finished and had to tap them or file the threads and stuff like that. China isn't know for their high rate of quality but some companies are better than others cause they pay for better qc.

Thank you for all your help! I cleaned out the tank and and wiped it down really well. it now is working just fine! Thanks once again. So glad that I joined this forum!!!

It could have been a loose piece of metal from the tank or coil stuck in the threads. When I get a new tank I clean it really well with alcohol and use a qtip on the threads and if it feels rough I'll lightly sand them with wet sand paper to make sure they're smooth and there's no hard edges that will make it hard to tighten or loosen.
