I bought one off of here and it wasn't working. For a small price Rick replaced it for me. That thing is reliable. It takes a little time to adjust to either using your hand to press down the top connector or your mouth. I vaped it at 6v and it hit like a tank. After a few draws the whole house was full of vapor. It's simple, durable, and reliable. Rick is also awesome at dealing with questions and problems. it does tarnish quickly if you don't get the optional coating. a $3 bottle of brasso makes it look good as new. not a really pretty mod but it can definitely take a beating

Personally I love this mod especially the way one activates it. Once you get used to it it's fantastic, though may not be for everyone, but can say it really grows on you to the point where you try your other mods by using the copper firing method only to forget the other mods have buttons.

The only thing I don't like is the battery life of 3v batteries.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the Copper, as it was my first mod, and the one that kept me off analogs. I received it from Rick back in April 2010, and since then have acquired a number of different mods, including two additional Coppers. Even with all those at my disposal, I find myself reaching for the Copper or Trogg's original Screwdriver. Both are very simple devices, which do what they are intended to do........and continue to perform flawlessly day after day. I love the Copper. :)

I used mine for a long time with no problems. Got a REO now. The only thing with the copper is that you need to unscrew the atty to disable it. I tried unsrewing it a little once but left it loosely attached. It got real hot in my jacket pocket because it was still making contact. Overall a very simple, reliable and durable device. And Rick is a really nice guy.

~Thanks some great feedback. I appreciate it~

The last 3.7 "metal" mod I had was the Icon... it was excellent... I sold it when I got my second reo... and have three small box mods I also use...
With Payday coming up, I was thinking I might grab the copper...
Do you recommend the one that uses 14500's or the 17.... batts?

lt, solid device.
you can press fit a small washer around the connector, this gives you a ledge so that you can activate with your finger instead of your mouth. i had the mini (16340).
