In a house.
I just got a New Starter Kit and 2 New Atomisers this week (the Classic RN4072's with the white matt finish) and all of them heat up within the first ten or so drags to the point where i can't hold them. The very first Atomiser i got (same style and battery) has Expanded so a cartridge is so loose that they just fall out. :( I've tried New Fully Charged Battery's and New Cartridges in them all and it's still the same. Have to put them down till they cool off. Ther's got to be something wrong with the batch. I can't be so unlucky as to get either 4 duff atomiser's or 3 duff battery's or 30 duff cartridges at the same time. One High Strength Cart is lasting about 30 drags before it's dry and i'm not really getting a lot of smoke either.
'tis a puzzlement and very annoying.
How old and what type are you using DeviLFisH 'cause like you "new cart just few puff it get hot man" but in my case new cart, new atomiser, new battery x3 it get's Very Hot man.

atomizers getting hot at least shows the battery is working.. the little coil thing glows nearly red hot at times.. some of the heat passing to the atomizer sides is normal..

as for thirty draws from micky mouse cart with nothing much in well i wouldn't expect much more..

the super mini carts are very small.. i would buy some liquid and top them up..

ps.. carts seem to vary in size.. some of mine fall out some are hard to push in.. i dont see how a stainless steel tube can expand but again one does vary from another.. the same cart can be lose in one and tight in another..

Too hot to handle after ten drags ?

They are Classic RN4072'S 18mg Which according too the e-cig website states 25 cartridges = approx 200 Cigarettes. Therefore 1 cart should be the equivalent to approx 8 Cigarettes. 1 real Cigarette would take me about fifteen drags to finish so thirty draws from the e-cig should be about 2 real cigarettes.
I hav'nt been able to find the mickey mouse one's yet. Maybe he does'nt stock that brand.

They are as i said Classic Pen Style RN4072's Not Super Mini carts and i have no intention of buying liquid to put into my Incinerators.. Sorry.. Atomisers until i know what is wrong.

i dont see how a stainless steel tube can expand but again one does vary from another.. the same cart can be lose in one and tight in another..

I have measured the Atomiser in Question. It has repeat Has Expanded after it's first use.I have put in 5 different knew carts from 5 different boxes.

the current that passes thru the atomizer heater coil is governed by two things..

the resistance of the wire wound coil and the voltage applied to it..

three possibilities.. bad coils without enough resistance..

overcharged batteries.. faulty charger which is over charging them.. this will damage them.. its also dangerous

put a volt meter on the batteries.. they should be just over 4 volts fresh of the charger.. u could measure the resistance of the coil but i have know idea what it should be.. it has been measured by people in the past..

steel should expand with heat but then contract as it cools.. cart and atomizers do vary i size quite noticably..

u have some strange problems.. as u say too hot to hold is well too hot.. and assuming the thing is switching off between drags very unusual..

sorry i u thought my reply patronizing.. it wasnt intended to be..

this might not be connected but i read on here last night in a usb power connector not working too well thread that someone had measured his battery at 5 volts and his usb at 3.8 volts..

the conclusion reached (wrongly) was the usb wasnt putting out enough volts.. but 3.8 volt is correct the five volts from the battery isnt..

i never commented at the time cos the arguing aint worth the hassle.. but a lithium cell should not be putting out five volts.. i aint saying some aint.. yours might be.. just that they shouldnt be..

there might be a batch of dud batteries/chargere out in the wild..
