After trying a variety of brands and models of atomizers I've settled into slowly making my way through the Ikenvape line. I vape a variety of tobacco flavours (at 4.2-3.7v), because even after a year of vaping, fruit flavours don't push that button in my brain that says "satisfied." Flavor is #1 for me, followed by consistency, followed by lung feeling and vapor density, and then juice economy. Throat hit, not so much . . . I've tried, and liked the 901, 306, and io6 1.8ohm, but I've never compared them side to side. The problem with the 901 I've had, while out and about is a bit of leakage if I drip to the sweet spot, and then don't have time to finish the vape. I'm guessing that can be solved with a drip shield, and I've read the Empire's shield is a good fit for the Roughstack.

Are my memories of the io6 correct, and it has the best flavor of the three? My trouble with the io6 is the twisted driptips aren't nearly as good as a t-tip, and the delrin ones are . . . very suboptimal. Maybe Cherry Vape will make the ultimate io6 drip tip? Without one, the io6 is a bit too much hassle while walking.

Finally, I've started to wonder about the 801, or the 801/510 Cannon. It seems like one that would be really nice at home, where I prefer a more mellow vape. The 1.8ohm 901 is a bit too warm in the mornings and evenings. Would a 2.5ohm 901 taste much sweeter than the 1.8ohm? Would a 2.5ohm io6 taste equally sweet? Or would the mellower character of the 801 that I've read about Does it seem like the 901 with drip shield would work best for me while out and about?

The following comments are just my opinion, so please don't take them personally: You are making vaping much too complex.
Find an atty, or 2, and go with it. Ikenvape's io6 is truly one of the finest atties out there for flavor and vapor; I use the 3.5ohm at 4.5-5volts depending on what I am looking for in th and flavor.

For going out to a club or bar I load up a 801 fusion with an sd-keyring for its convenience in size... the fusion is the best tasting carto I've found. I also use a smoktech dc tank 1.5ohm on my provari when i don't feel like dripping at home and also when I'm heading over to a friend's house and such.

good luck,

I can only concur with gatorfan. Both the I06 and the Fusion are remarkable. Personally, I like the dt that comes with the I06, theecigs has pyrex dt made for the I06, and they have gotten good reviews. NEW! I06 Iken Vape Glass Tips And cherryvapes does make dt for it.

The Fusions are my favorite of all the cartos & attys I have tried. And they are more functional for extended vaping with less hassles.
