So, all I have used to this point is 100% stainless steel atomizers (except my RM2 which gets very little use). I have a Vanilla copper mod clone (with brass accents) coming and would like to get either a brass or copper rda. My question is: are they safe?

Being a smoker for over 40 years, it may seem like a moot point, but I don't want to add to the damage by inhaling metal that may be harmful. I see that some attys/caps are lined with stainless steel. Is that necessary? Are authentic mods inherently safer than clone attys? I'm wondering if clones in brass and copper contain mystery metal and/or potentially harmful impurities.

Maybe I'm over-thinking this, but wanted to see what other members have to say.

Thanks. :)

all my research agrees with the assessment regarding heat levels in copper. i was still concerned about using anything brass though. i will only use lead free brass from a reputable source. and i use the old brewers trick just to be sure. Removing surface lead from brass - Home Brew Forums . hope this helps.

What does PRC like to add to metals as filler, regardless of what they claim the metal to be? Here's a hint- it is heavy and cheap...

Yeah, that's my suspicion/fear. It's not worth the risk, to me. I'm going to get a stainless steel atty with copper air flow ring.

Thanks for all the replies.
