Atomizer not firing on chuck?

Woohoo, my chuck came and it looks beautiful! But I can't use it! No matter what atomizer I use on it (901, 4075 or cartomizer) it's not getting fired. It looks like the center post is recessed a bit on the chuck to atty connector. IS there a way to raise it without breaking the chuck?

Make sure it's clean. I know, it's new. sometimes when I test them and then they sit in the mail for a few days, the residual juice from testing them dries on there.

Thank you for answering Jeff, I thought you were at work, lol. I cleaned it, but it's still not working when connecting the atomizers. The atty's work though, I already tested them. It seems like the center post of the connector is recessed and needs to be lifted. I'm afraid if I try without clear instructions, I'll break it or something.

Use a paper clip in the cebter hole to gently shimmy it up and do it to center post on atty too.

Thanks for that CTJ. I didn't realize about the atty side post being able to be pushed in. I just revived 2 attys
Looking at all the adapters I have for experimentation, they all have varying heights causing this.

I can't seem to shimmy it up with my tweezers (don't have a paper clip). I'm afraid I'll break it. Is it attached to any wires or anything?

All you need is something small enough and tough enough to stick in the hole and shimmy it back and fourth. It will raise up.

Just use tweezer end to push one way on one side, then do the other side...wish I could find my pic tutorial I did on this on the sat thread...its sooo long!!!!

No prob I did a pic tutorial on this on the sat thread but cant find it in all those posts...I only did it a few weeks ago!!!

Glad I could help...just be gentle w them OH and the adapters cebter posts slide back and forth so SHOULD adjust automatically

I've had mine about three days and this happened to me, too. I changed batteries, tried about 5 atty's and it still won't work. The atty's work on my regular 510's. I cleaned the
contact, I've tried everything. I did email Jeff, waiting for his reply. I'm so upset and want my Chuck to work!! Any other suggestions?

I just had to screw mine on past the resistance point as the threads were rough due to being grooved for cartomizers.

Thanks. I just now tried that and it still won't vape. It's screwed on as tight as I can make it go. I'm so sad!!
