Atomizer, really weird nasty taste

So I got a pack of 2 atomizers with my e-power. And for some really weird reason they taste awful. Metal burnt nastiness. Any ideas? My carts taste a thousand times better, and from what i've been reading that should not be happening, attys should have a better flavor. Side note the nastiness flavor is on both atomizers. Bad atomizers? I dry burned them to see if they were functioning and they seem to be.

Any ideas would be great.

Did you clean them before you used them?

What ohms are they?

Need to blow out the primer real hard few times.

I did clean them out a bit before I tried them. I'm not sure the resistance as of now i'm at work and haven't tested them on a MM yet. The taste is so bad I can't use them.

One thing I did notice compared to a cart, is with in the fitting there is a white material around the inner section of the threading, there is not that in any of my carts. Not sure if that is something specific to atty's.

I also just a quick dry burn on it again, and just stunk out my office it smells that bad.

Ok yeah I'm done with these bad boys and will be bringing in some air freshener, holy jeebus.
