Great! Thank you all for the advice. I knew it was going to be a pretty long process finding what I like. Surprisingly the fresh battery is hitting great with the blueberry/strawberry mix I'm using.

I am going to be getting the new batteries, ordered 2 last night to swap in/out and then I'll have some comparisons to make. I have only really been vaping like...2ml a day at most. I'm not a chain vaper and I honestly didn't smoke before, I was a chewer. So maybe my battery life is longer than the average user? I also hate how cigs taste so any tobacco flavor is off the table for me.

I'm probably going to get some cisco spec 2.0's and a longbarrel 2.0 357. Since I'm working on 3 atty's right now (was planning to swap them out every 3-5 days depending) I think adding a few more to try will be nice and if I find something I love I can always swap. I'm afraid the 357 will be so nice that I'll want 4 of them and drop 80 bucks lOl.

Again thank you all for the advice.

If you've already ordered the expensive attys, good for you and good luck.
If not, I suggest you learn on more inexpensive alternatives. Through no fault of your own, you will burn up some attys for no good reason other than inexperience. Better to do it on a 5 dollar Joye than a 10 dollar Cisco or a 20 dollar .357. Contrary to what some people have suggested, quite a few of us dedicated REO users are happy with Joye 510's and 306's. They are all I use when I'm not on a cartomizer kick. Yeah, you'll have some misadventures, but they aren't that bad. Vaping itself is still an inexact science and if you think you'll escape that by paying for the most expensive attys, think again.
Once you've learned the basics, then start digging in to the more expensive components. It's up to you but that is my opinion.

Something that I don't think anybody mentioned, or maybe I missed it  I notice if I vape a fairly strong flavor for days in a row, sometimes I become numb to that flavor, when that happens I will vape a mint for a couple of hours and then go back and I can taste the flavor again.

Yep, that can and will happen. The stronger your flavor the more likely it is to happen too. The cinnamon is a good one for numbing the taste buds! Sometimes too our tastebuds will go through changes and you might not taste anything for a couple of days. It happens!

I think it happens to most of us who stick to one juice for to long

VERY sound advice!! I have been tempted more than once to pick up the more expensive attys. Truth is the ones I have work very well, and if and when a time comes that I am more versed with the atties, then I will go down the hot rod road. I have found several very reasonable priced ones ie Joye and Madvapes 306's that work very well. I did pick up some Bridgless with my order for my dripshield from Empire and so far seems to be a very nice atty!

Yeah I think for now I'm gonna see what happens with these atty's and the batteries I'm getting. Probably won't see too much of a difference with new batteries, I just want to get the most out of my juices. Maybe it's just the sad fact that the juices won't ever be what I'd like and thats the lesson here.

I'll probably be trying some new vendors on my next order, but for now the blueberry from HC is working great, and I have some mint from them also :p Probably going to hang around the 60/40 vg/pg mix and just clean my atties when they seem to be hanging.

Thank you all for the advice, it has definitely been absorbed and my journey continues!

One last thought: if you are hunting for perfection--welcome to the club.
If you find it, let us know,OK?:)

I'll be the FIRST to let you know :) I hooked up a fresh battery and a cleaned atty and the Johnson's Creek 100% PG free is hitting like a BOSS...Seems like Its going to take some experimentation, it's been steeping for a few days with the cap off so maybe it'll get better with time. Gonna vape this stuff for a day or so and see how it goes with the fresh battery.

Yay for learning!

I have tried a number of attys. I tried the ones on the Reo site but they didn't cut it for me. I also tried the HH357 and found it inconsistent. The Ciscos I tried & other 306s that are modeled on that (EMs 306, for example) weren't satisfactory either.
So I relied mainly on cartos.

I've recently started using Ikenvapes 2.5 Ohms atomizers and they are really good on the Reo. The flavor shines through and it produces good vapor. Their i06 is also very good for changing flavors. I have to stick to 1 flavor per atomizer on the ones I first mentioned. I will get more of the atomizers when I run through some of the cartos I have and can justify the purchase. Boge or Ikenvapes cartos are fine for me on the Reo. The flavor is slightly less pronounced than with the atomizers I found that work well but I already bought a bunch before I tried the atomizers, so I will live with the difference until I use them up.

I don't know if you guys are still in this thread, but if I'm flooding the atty (which I don't think I am?) is it going to spit more often...I'm continuously getting juice spitting up through my delrin drip tip onto my tongue....freaks me out...and I don't want to swallow it (?) just seems wrong.

Yep, you're oversquonking. A little less juice will help solve that. A 306 atty (not bridgeless) will be the most forgiving for flooding/oversquonking, meaning it will deal with it and won't spit at you. I'm partial to Cisco's, but good points about not spending money on top shelf atties until you learn a bit more. Swallowing too much juice may make you nauseus, but it most likely won't really hurt you. I'd say it won't hurt you, but there are always exceptions and extreme cases.

DO NOT underestimate the value of good batteries. Not only do you want to use something safe, but essentially the REO is nothing more than a connector between the atty and the battery (electrically speaking). A lousy battery on a good atty is no better than a lousy atty on a good battery... Probably worse actually. Good batteries really will make a difference.

I always used 510 atomizers when I was vaping on my eGo. I tried cartomizers a couple of times and pretty much hated them. Went on for 16 months being a happy atty user. Then I bought a REO. I got so frustrated trying to get the squonking just right, avoiding dry hits and flooding. Dealing with just all around less than satisfying vapes. I put a cartomizer on it one day, mostly out of desperation, and it was like vaping rainbows. What a world of difference. I went from a confirmed atty lover, carto hating vaper to just the opposite with the REO. Maybe try a cartomizer. It might change things for you.

Yap that is 2 much.
ry to drip it normaly, maybe 2-3 drops to get a feeling how much juice is needed.

If u know how it feels when there is optimum juice in the atty, try to get it right with squonking.

1.The bottle usually needs a light push only. Maybe while u take a drag without firing, until u feel a difference in the draw or u hear alike gurgle. don´t push any longer.
2.Then a short drag (without firing the button) to get the juice up to the coil.
3.Push the firepin and vape away, until the flavor gets weak.
4.Start all over again and when u got used to it
5.REOlicious, REOtastic, REOdise.
