I just had a strange thing happen to me tonight. I got 4 new 3 ohm Cisco atties in the mail and they wouldn't fire on my Provari. When I ckd them they were showing they were 1.3 ohms? All 4 of them. They wouldn't even fire on my Provari. But once I took out the battery I was using all day and put a new battery in and I guess it somehow restarted the chip in the Provari maybe, now they are reading at 3 ohms and vaping fine. My battery was working perfectly fine with my other atomizer and not flashing before then. Very strange and first time that's happened to me. Has anyone else had that with their Provari?

I would suggest cleaning the contact pin inside the ProVari.

Take a q-tip soaked in isopropyl alcohol (99-92%) and wipe down the round piece of metal at the base of the circuit board for a good 20 seconds or so. It should be a shiny silver in color. Make sure to clean the tops and bottoms of your batteries as well. Make sure your unit is dry before reinserting the batteries.

And to complete the cleaning, pull up on the spring in the end cap to stretch it out a bit. Make sure and hold the bottom of the spring so it doesn't pop out of the end cap. They're a pain to get back in. This will helps secure the battery into place and provide a more solid connection.

Thanks alot, narcosleepygirl! Wow, I read that before awhile ago and completely forgot about it. duhhh... lol. I should probably clean my Provari good this weekend because I've had it quite awhile and never have cleaned it. I was panicking when all 4 of my beautiful bridgeless atomizers from Avid Vaper came in the mail tonight and they all were reading 1.3 ohms and wouldn't fire. I was thinking, OMG, I'm doomed! lol.
