Thanks. All these people with thier authenticity vs clone issues. Like a vape device is high tech or something. Like a free market shouldn't exist.

Or worse the made in America crowd driving ford's built in Mexico and Canada hating on Chinese manufacturers. All the while owning a house filled with China made goods (not to mention hating on vw and Toyota's built in the American south)

I digress. I'm pumped about this China made clone!

And American made nissans. I agree with you 100 percent which is why i ordered a 7 22 and a dz dna 30 to support both causes and then i ordered a hana modz clone for no support just for me lol.

I second this. For me, with everything, it's a quality vs price comparison.

The overall QC for authentic Hana mods has been total crap. It's just an aluminum box with a chip inside and they can't get it right. I'll take my chances with China, who just happens to be very experienced with producing and assembling electronics placed inside boxes.

We aren't comparing mech mods here, where you pay a premium for a perfect finish/fitment and a butter smooth switch.

Can you clarify whether you are actually aware of authentic Hana mods QC problems, or could you be making a presumption based on counterfeit product?

People have definitely been getting authentic hanas with crooked 510 connectors.

Thanks for the comment, however that still leaves me the same question as to whether its an assumption or a counterfiet product.

Is 'authentic' based on a logo on the device or on something else. That's the question I am asking. And if something else, then what?

It's based on units being shipped from an authorized Hana dealer with the holographic genuine Hana stickers inside. They are authentic units. Clones/replicas haven't hit the states yet.

Check out the mess that is the SS Vapes pre order thread if you're curious.

There's been recent threads with nautilus tanks and aerotanks that when the purchaser went on the website to veryfy the scratch off code, the website responded with code already used ; in one case I think it was 37 times already used, and the other case was over 900 times.

So;;; actually I'm not sure what the holographic Hana sticker means, but that alone still doesn't clarify for me whether its a genuine product and not a couterfiet one.

If the product was returned and replaced by Hana Modz then it was genuine.

I have a V1, and my son does too. Both purchased when they first came out, about a year ago. Both are still going strong. MY experiences with their customer service (purchasded directly) have all been exemplary.

Yes, they scratch easily, as most aluminum does. But I love the look with a gunmetal CF VaporSkinz wrap.

Will the clones hold up as well? That's impossible to answer now. Plenty are being pre-ordered though, so we're sure to know soon enough. If I didn't have this one, I'd take the shot.

Tap, Tap, Tap.... Talk.

These are genuine products in question. It was already stated that there aren't any hana clones in the states yet. From what I've read, the quality control of the hana mods have gone way down. Probably due to rushing them out. Scratched up mods, crooked 510's, not firing any atomizers ect. If you don't believe they are genuine products, I guess you'll have to do your own research.

This clone is my first pre-order. It will be my first box mod, and first dna type device. I am excited and worried all at the same time.

Yeah, same with me. I've wanted to try the DNA 30 (or clone or whatever) and I want to have a box mod. I am excited! but not worried...

Look up the SSVape Preorder thread here on ECF.

The last twenty or so pages are full of pictures of scratches and crooked 510 connections combined with complaints of faulty wiring causing all kinds of issues. They aren't getting much help from Hana either.
