Why would that be off-putting? People have been vaping all manner of different dry herbs for a loooooooooooong time, and I don't mean just weed. PVs for the dry herb folk have been around a lot longer than our PVs, and some of them are truly awesome.
only say that because in the ecf fourm rules there is to be no talk about illegal drugs and I know sum vapers don't want to be associated with any thing that has to do with weed vaping they want to keep the two separate which is kinda silly but I think I'm getting way off topic here so ya back to the hanna hurry up and wait talk

So I was thinking at the price we are getting these mods for if there are a few problems with them like a crooked 510 or the board not being up to snuff I wouldn't be to upset because I would fix the problems my self ie put in a replacement 510 or at worst have to get a real dna chip and swap it for the clone but it would still be cheaper than getting a real hana and won't take forever and a day to get my hands on. But for some reason I still think that these clones are going to be just fine and well worth the money spent for them

I don't think they're that smart and would try to hide it that way. Now you're making a conspiracy

I don't think so either. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt. I think most people, like me, just want to see some clean proof of these units. Since we all did a blind preorder. That all

I apologize if I came off a bit brash on some of my recent posts. No Intention of that. But I can see how it may have looked. Sorry

I agree. I'm sure they don't want to bury themselves. Too many, presold mods coming, so if they are crap, that will put clouper on a lot of black lists. I'm sure they are aware of that.

Maybe I don't understand, but what that post never mentioned, and this seems pretty important, is if, given a specific resistance, the 28ga wire gets hotter than the 32ga. Because if it doesn't, the question becomes one of the mass of the wire being heated up and the speed at which that happens.

I know that a 0.7Ω coil made of double-twisted 32ga (four strands of wire) took forever to heat up, but, once it was hot, didn't seem to be any hotter or cooler than a 0.7Ω coil of single strand 28ga. Now, the 28ga had more wraps on the wick, and therefore more surface area to create vapor, but I haven't noticed a major difference between thickness of wires.

WHat you need to get is that 32g wire doesn't require that much wattage for it too heat up.... it is thin. Almost all atty heads supplied by the chinese use 32g or 34g wire....they don't require more than 12 watts for them to fire nicely....again that is why the is MVP is hugely popular even though it can't fire above 12 watts. The thicker the wire the more wattage you need for it to heat up fast....In a mechanical mod this happens automatically the thicker the wire you use the lower the ohms and the higher the wattage. No one is going to make a 1.8 ohm coil with a 26g wire ( you would need a 20 wrap coil) because it would take forever to heat up. So for you to try to compare the coils made with different gauge wires using ohms is futile....it doesn't make sense....again no one is going to make a 1.8ohm coil using 26g wire. If you make two exact same coils one using 32g and the other with 28g wire.....you would need supply the 28g coil a lot higher wattage for it to reach the same temperature as 32g coil.

So going back to the original point....most people who will actually need the 30watts capacity that this mod will provide will be the people who use set ups that are sub ohm.

Hi,

I believe there might be a delay, but not sure until when. We sent out our pre-order list 3 weeks ago, so it should be coming in soon, hopefully by the end of next week.

Best Regards,

Illvapes Team

The reply I just got from illvapes about shipping. Lol I'm happy I cancelled with them, they have no idea what's even going on.

Thats right on target. May 5 ship from China. Actually faster than I expected them to get to the US.

Not sure how you think that's right on lol. Nothing is adding up with them. If cloupor is delaying it, that only leaves hotcig. Hot cig only has a dna20.

Is it that you really just want to come here and pick fights? Im sorry??? Never saw you post that you actually made an order with them.. Again I apologize ! I thought this thread was for people that ordered. My bad.

I think what you are missing is the double twisted 32g had A LOT more surface area than the 28g, even with more wraps. The heat is spread more evenly through the wire. This allows you to crank the power up higher without burning the juice. 32g also tends to bring out crisp flavors better than lower gauge kanthal. I'm referring to micro and macro coils, not traditional coils.

I'm not picking a fight lol, are you too incompetent to comprehend what is being said? All I said is that it's not adding up which makes me wonder what illvapes is even selling. They have no idea when the clones come in, they can't name who they bought them from and it takes two days to reply to an email. All I'm saying is I don't trust them, which is why I cancelled my pre order.
