Yea these dont have the seam by the 510 and have a hole drilled out be the USB port
ordered one curious if it's any good
Does anyone know why elev8 vape take so long to ship? Their website only advertise week delay, and I haven't received it in over 2 weeks, and reading posts I found out that it took some user months to receive theirs from elev8 vape. If that's the case, I might as well as order from fast-tech at least I will get cheaper price. I then read some other user's order from WetVapes shipped on same day. What the heck, if so, why is their stock situation so poor on this
Elev8 has had the most business from the clones. They are testing every one and I believe still replacing screws. They're going out basically as soon as the shipment from cloupor is received, being limited by what cloupor is sending them. The people that have wait months were probably on pre-order from when if was first posted. All that said, give Arlind an email, ask what's up. He'll clear it up for you.
Wetvapes waits until they are in stock to post them for sale.
They are taking massive amounts of time because each unit is tested before shipped out. They also have massive amounts of
orders to fullfill and ship out. Even though i think a MONTH is a bit long to send out a clone, its still understandable that
they want to take their time and make sure they're sending out WORKING, good quality units..
Mine came in the mail today, i just haven't been home to pick it up. Im pretty excited though!!
I have to rebuild some of my RDA's because they are all at .3-.4 ohms lol
in my opinion, elev8, along with some of the posters in this thread, are the real heroes in this whole dna 30 mod clone thing. if it weren't for them, we'd all have first batch type clones, of which i have one. thanks to the folks who got the info to cloupor, the clones are more than slightly better. and i have 3 more coming, one of which, i ordered from elev8. i get my authentic stuff from WorldOfVape, but these clones are perfect for me. i never recommended them to anyone, cuz i figure they'd break the 510 pin.
might even replace my 1st batch clone for a 2nd batch and gift the 1st one to my god-daughter, who is in love with it.
at least you know, if you remain patient on elev8, that your mod was tested. in any case, they did real good, esp for a new company.
the way you get stuff from china is funky. companies send them lots of money, but they send you what they send you, when they decide to send it to you.

The new 510 is smaller the old one was too big, some tanks positive 510 that didn't
Stick out enough was shorting out the unit and frying the chips board

I've done a little snooping around a couple of weeks ago looking for ecig "accidents" and found quite a few fires started by charging the battery, all of them seemed to be those Ego type USB chargers.
Safety first......Lets all give more ammo to the FDA, exploding batteries, kids sipping e-juice.....I hope everyone is either stoking up to last you for years....or you remember what analogs taste like because with news like this and others the FDA is going to ban it ALL......

I think in our industry there are many people who have very good intentions and share information which is vital to our safety, but while doing so they are adding fuel to the FDA fire which is burning Bright Red at this point. While I believe that sharing safety issues is very important to all of us, we should be careful how we share it and also share similar situations which occur with many other electronic devices and chemicals which have NOTHING to do with our industry......just my humble opinion!!
There's a lot more to it than "ecig caught fire". But will it ever be reported as such? Probably not. There's factors such as who made the battery, who made the charger, what were the specs supplied to the charger, was battery safety precautions taken? It's pretty similar to leaving a candle unattended, would you do that while you sleep? We do need some form of regulation for batteries and e liquid alike, not to the extent of traditional tobacco, but standards need to be in place. Don't take that as I blame the battery as I'm sure the victim played a role in the failure as well. Regulation doesn't automatically equal bad, too much does...
Some people have no business buying sophisticated ecig stuff , many admit they have no clue how to use it , what it's for etc..., i have already seen threads titled (bought a DNA 30 but don't know anything about it) idiots.
