This was the major problem with ALL of the reviews. They immediately went to low Ω coils and never tried them with anything not sub-Ω. Why not throw a 1.5Ω kayfun on there instead of simply looking to satisfy the cloud chasers? They could have narrowed down the issue more clearly had they done a full test rather than simply opening it, and immediately looking to throw a .3Ω coil and see if it works.

In all fairness, that was the major concern from what I could tell... I understand why they made a point to show that. I think people expect more from this than the hana. The Chinese are notorious for clones, yeah? It's hit or miss, I've had some great clones, some better than the original, then again I've had some fall flat. It's just the nature of things and unfortunately we won't have any real world opinions until it's released to the public. I'm optimistic still...

I do because they have been advertising and trying to sell them that way. If they didn't want complaints, don't tell me you're making a 1:1 clone.

That said, I expect that this box will perform as well as the Hana.

They could scratch mine all up... If it works good I'll be happy! I can always refinish it...

From a guy who's never even seen one with his own eyes, much less used one. Ladies and gentleman, the new America: where final judgments are made about a product before it's even left the factory floor.

Chill out, dude. Wait until you get the product in your hands. Use it for a while, perhaps a few minutes even, before you make your decision as to whether it's a good product or not.

If they were truly concerned about reviewing the product to make sure it was ready to send to their customers, they should have done a review rather than a dog and pony show about whether it would fire a .3Ω coil at 30W. It wasn't a review they did, but a dog and pony show to quell the masses.

I have faith that the MOD will work, but it's frustrating that the reviews weren't more comprehensive. All they seemed to want to verify is if it fires low Ω coils at 30W. How does it vape with the most popular equipment rather than niche drippers with 1/4" holes in their drilled out top caps and low Ω coils. How does it fire a Protank 2? Does it actually send a DC current? Or is it some form of PWM? How about hooking one up to an oscilloscope? If they don't have one of those, hook it up to a volt meter and see if it reads.

In the Elev8vape video they put a Nautilus with a 1.7ohm coil. It read it as 1.5ohms but had no trouble firing it at 30 watts. So at least elev8 did try it on higher ohm coil. This is what had me concerned that the units didn't read ohms correctly no matter what ohm coil you put on it. At least elev8 mentioned that units have trouble reading ohms... I don't think anyone else mentioned it at first. hopefully Clapour will truly address the accurate ohm reading and short circuit protection before sending them out.

If you're interested in using standard atomizers and pre-built coils then a dna30 type of device is not for you. I'd be looking at a provari.

tested 100000 times and the testers found a issue in 40 seconds and that has me reconsidering on if I need to cancel my order and buy the stuff to make my own mod with dual 18650 battery's....
The sellers have been OK to good but cloupor REALLY miss out on a deal that would have Rocketed them to success or Hurt them in the end but for the vendors to save face there helping Cloupor to save them self. I have gone from excited to Disappointed in this product but the good thing through it all is I now know who the good vendors are from the OK one's!
Good luck everyone as I no longer think the $75 is a good buy anymore and will invest in something worth my money...

Even if you dont like the device... the major selling point of the authentic hana modz is the aesthetics of the case itself. Many of us can build our own DNA devices. But here you can get a litteral 1:1 copy of the aluminum case mold and build your own device with a nice look and feel instead of a plastic project box.

I'm wondering why anyone would want to switch batteries when simply plugging it in to USB will charge the unit. WHen the batteries start acting up and refusing to hold a decent charge is the only time one should open this box.

Receive box in mail.
Open it.
Take off battery door.
Install battery.
Replace battery door.
Leave it closed until the battery needs to be replaced. All charging should be done via USB. That's what it's there for.

Depending on what battery you're using, a USB charger may not cut it.

What would have been nice would have been that SAME Nautilus with the in line volt meter that would have told us if it was properly regulating. I sent an email early this morning with no response. The real dna 30 does what that did although not as low. Because it won't fire, but at .6ohms it wouldn't have dumped the battery voltage into the coil it would have regulated at 4.2v, but it did dump the battery voltage to it which leads me to believe it knew it was a .3ohm coil (or at least not .6). A reading of around 7.2v would have told us it knew it was a 1.7ohm coil and just displayed wrong or a reading of around 6.7v would have told us it was in fact thinking it was a 1.5ohm coil. A random voltage would have told us that it's not regulating and doing as it pleases...

Yes and that will be great for a lot of buyers! I think you can buy the cases them self tho for cheap.

Second off - I will not talk Bad about any company or product to protect the vendors and investors both of whom I know!!!
Third off - I have been in contact with Cloupor since early on in this product (Enough said on that)
Fourth off - I hope you get a end product you are looking for but for reasons i will not say I have been soured.

I also will say a sample should be in my hands and if it was I may feel Different as you said but being it is not I may feel as I do! lol

Couple of facts tho, Every vendor was told they will be first to get them because they had big orders for them.. Ha Ha Ha Trust me :
1 : 1 box enclosure yes but chip no and with issues needing fixed. I see no EXCITEMENT on this product in the faces of every person who to this point made a youtube video! None... Why? Makes one wonder what other things could be wrong yet left un-said? They do look Disappointed tho at times or at least Blah but surely not EXCITED - WHY?
If I had one right now in my hands and was making a video for you all to see and I liked it - That chit would be written all over my face with a smile from ear to ear, I gotta ask being its not in my hands to show you Why?
I do wish vendors and there customers well tho I just know for me my money could inject a lot more excitement with another product.

I know that I WOULD NOT buy anything from hillbilly vapor, he might just be an awesome guy but I would cancel if I ordered from him.
