^ Yes, it does.

If we do receive something incapable of performing so, aren't we contractually bound to request a refund or something like that? Since it is being officially advertised as so. It'd be the same as stating you're buying a car that goes up to 300km/h but it doesn't even reach 180km/h.

One of the guys on the Fasttech forum got the Hotcig version and did some tests;
Here are my test results: It shows 20 Watts, but I only got 15 and ONLY if the resistance was above 2 Ohms. Below that the highest reading I got was like 12,5 Watt.

Too bad the spanish guy didn't measure the output.

I just hope that DT checks the issues (if it is the box from HotCig) before they ship them out!
But so far I have only seen the 20W version from HotCig. Cloupor already offers a DNA30.

Unfortunately, Fasttech don't disclose who manufactures their products so who knows if they're selling the Hotcig version, folks are cancelling their orders already.

........ has also amended the post where he speculated that these chips had something to with Evolv;
I was contacted by someone close to Brandon that told me that this is 100% NOT an Evolv board and evolv has nothing to do with it. There was a chip called the EXP but it has since been scrapped. Evolv themselves are getting chips to see how these boards are being made. The source code might have been leaked to China.

Im glad we got some clarification on the matter.

Im still trying to figure out why they are sandpapering the chips so you can't see what chips they are, and who makes them.

Quick response!
"Our supplier days they're able to read down to .3ohms. I will double check for you and reply to you tomorrow after I've spoken to my supplier again"

My reaction:
"Yes I believe it can cope with 0.3 ohm, but the question is, if it can cope with 30 watts at for example 1.4 ohm.

Thanks for the quick response."

And another quick response :
"I don't see why it wouldn't. I will double check with the factory and let you know the answer"

Hey Michael,
Seems to be some speculation on these units after a recent Clouper video popped up on you tube comparing the clone to the original. They show a 2.3 ohm on the clone and a 1.4 on the original. People are getting cold feet over this since some early reviews of the dna 20 clone that wont go above 11 watts with an atomizer below 2.3 ohms as well.

Are you going to be testing FULL functionality of these devices when you get them? Also what is the refund policy on these?

Thank you!

Regards,

I wouldn't have bought the thing to fire a 1 ohm coil I need this to fire at least a .8ohm.

Exactly. Safe sub-ohming is the selling point of this device (at least for me). It's really irritating to think they might not be entirely truthful about that aspect, especially when they go out of their way to put "1:1 Clone" all over the place.
