funny thing is 3 minutes after i posted my question to you guys i got a response from them haha

We have talked with our attorneys and I believe we are going to get the green light to ship them. Also, Cloupor has told us there will be an extended delay on the orange and green colors, but that they have a lot of black ones in stock that they can ship us. If you need to change your color to black, please let me know now. We already got some in on Tuesday but had to hold off shipment because of the recent events. I believe I also saw some refund requests from this email too. Given this new info, would you still like to cancel or would you be fine with a black one?

what to do what to do... i feel like this is a trap to keep me in the ship while it sinks, arlind already did me that solid and i feel im obligated to just follow through with this cancellation and give my money to elev8vape. on one hand theres a chance ill get my mod soon from illvapes although it will be black... or i go with elev8 who's been good to me and wait until mid june probably to get an orange which i want... i think i already kno what im going to do but what do u guys think?

I assume that was a canned personal email... so hopefully I will get one in the next day as well. its tough to tell what you are thinking... excitement over disgust ;p but I say whatever your gut tells you follow through with it.

How many rats jumping off the ship do you need to count before you realize the boat is sinking?

Realistically your risk with sticking illvapes is low, in the sense that your WORST case scenario is loosing about 70 dollars. That sucks, but I certainly dont think it will break you (if it does then you shouldn't have ordered PERIOD right? )

Worst case scenario ordering with somebody else? You get bumped to the back of the line.

Your dime, your call.

My personal thought is that elev8 seems to be getting lots of black ones in. So those probably wont be a long wait on his site. Or for a few extra buck just order from wetvapes if they are still in stock. Personally I don't trust illvapes at all anymore and they are trying to save themselves from sinking, which I was told is a definite possibity if enough orders are canceled. So the real question is... do you help keep them afloat, or send them to the depths?

yea i cancelled my order, i just couldn't go in circles with them anymore. its become less about getting my clone as soon as possible and more about principle, elev8 has been good to me and technically im still not even a customer of theirs yet. he fronted me a clone *a stranger* with no money down, which got me a guaranteed place in line earlier then i would have gotten if i had to wait to get money back in my card to order... thats beyond customer service. he doesnt need the extra guaranteed customer, there making a killing... he did it out of the kindness of his heart and for me to cancel that kindness and stick with illvapes would make the kind of person i dont want to be. it might be weeks more to get my clone but you cant put a price on the kind of customer service you get with elev8vape, so yes i cancelled and im sticking with elev8, i can honestly say they earned not only my business but my trust...

I originally ordered with illvapes, last night I ordered with elev8 (both black). I'm pretty far down the list with elev8 and their site says the wait is at least 2 weeks. If illvapes ships I'll cancel with elev8, if not I'll cancel and wait for elev8.

FYI, even if illvapes goes chapter 11 you can still dispute the charge with your credit card company and get your refund. Also, illvapes seems to have 2 contact phone #s. One that is listed on the website, the other can be found by looking it up on yelp.

If you can afford it now, get both and sell your least favorite for what you paid. Kinda solves both problems.

Sooo. If illvapes truthfully did get the green light to sell the no logo units, then that is a strong indicator that they came to some lind of settlement, and agreed to not sell the logo versions, probably along with some kind of financial payout as well. Either that or their lawyer(s) is/are dumb as hell and told them to do it anyway.

Yea I was thinking about getting that as well but got a black nimbus and a gaia, both have yet to ship, going to get my Efest 18650 3100mah 20A battery ordered today hopefully as long as my vendor has them up, I'm very curious about these cells...

The Gaia, the one that ships without wicks and coils is really good, got one for myself and a buddy, received them a couple of weeks ago.

That's good to hear, that's the one I ordered. Eta to FT isn't until 5/24 though and that of course doesn't mean it will ship then... :(I wish I could find something like an aurora clone... Like the idea of no mess dripping but can't afford a reo

3D and a 510 adapter from FT isn't to shabby but a Reo is Grand
