Thanks! 12+ hours, and no seepage yet. May have actually been over tightened to the block. What a P.I.T.A. for the KFM to have to wear a "mini pad", but if nothing else works....

Was still getting seepage after tightening things up. Checked this o-ring today and it looked perfect, but replaced it anyway. We'll see....

At about 15 hours is started seeping through again. Will be sending this one back to fasttech.

Are you sure you aren't just getting condensation in the airway? All atomizers with airholes below the deck level have condensation in this area since hot vapor will condense on colder surfaces and the airway is by definition open to hot vapor. This condensation increases with time and behaves exactly as you describe. The key is to occasionally turn the atty upside down with a napkin around the external airholes and blow out the condensed liquid.

It's definitely not condensation. It's e-liquid. Same color, same smell.

Well in my experience, condensed liquid is always the same color and same smell as the liquid in the tank and I've seen this consistently for the last 6 years. Your mileage may be different but I'd be interested in hearing your personal experience with condensation on your other atomizers.

Sorry, Duane, but I'm not buying. It's e-liquid, and I don't care if it's condensed or fat free or pixy pee. Over time it drips to the rim of my ProVari, and it's unacceptable. My other atomizers are two authentic KFL+V2 and one authentic R91, and I've never experienced this with any of them.

@ricks it's coming from here:

Don't know if it's coming from the AFC or the o-ring, though after adjusting the afc grub screw there's no liquid on the screw driver. The original o-ring is fine, but I replaced it anyway, and still it's seeping. Not having this problem with my Plus or SXK versions.

Try a thicker o-ring there or put some floss or string under the o-ring and see it it stops. But you should not have liquid getting down there to begin with. Is the center post tight? Also make sure that the insulator under the positive block is not cracked or loose.

The center post from your Plus and SXK will fit also. Maybe try swapping one of them to see it it helps.

All good suggestions, ricks. I'll put the original o-ring back (which was thicker than the replacement) or see if I can find another one- may try the floss trick. Everything is tight and insulator is fine. There comes a time when there are better things to be doing than fiddling with a $14 clone.

My black one from vapenw is doing the same, was really bad last night, puddle of juice on my mod, got the spare oring sets from fasttech this week, so going to try changing out the orings and see if it helps at all.

Also got my 2nd plus this week, did have leaking on the 1st one, changed orings on the base and been good so far.

I had one of my 2ml ones leak on the bottom once. It was caused by me having the coil too close to the air hole. The cotton was touching the top of the air hole. I find I get more flavor having the coil as close as possible to the air hole. Anyone else find more flavor that way??? I said "air hole" a lot in there... LoL

Yep, always bend my legs out away from the air hole with a micro screwdriver and set the coil squarely over (air hole) at about 2-3 mm above for best flavor. But yeah, wicks stay off the deck and ....air hole!

Thanks for the humor today Ricks.

    I'm not selling ! :)

What you described is normal after a long period of vaping for every atty I've ever seen with airholes below the level of the deck. I get this sometimes with both my original KF mini v3 and with the clones. The "fix" is so simple I just thought you might be interested in trying it.

Attys vary in the volume of the air chamber and how the air is channeled up to the coil. Sometimes it takes a really long time to see the condensation on attys like the Ubertoot, Kanger Subtank, Crown or Bachelor because the chambers below the deck are huge. On other attys with more direct and restricted air channels the condensation is noticeable sooner.

If you aren't interested in trying a simple fix, no problem. We all get to vape the way we want.

I should have mentioned that lots of folks tend to minimize condensation by being sure to stop firing and "suck air" at the end of a puff. Personally I would rather clear the air passages now and then with a napkin than do this but if ones vaping style is to stop firing while still moving air through the atty condensation can be minimized or even eliminated on some attys.

I get mine as close as possible. I would guess about 1mm or less of air space between the coil and air hole...
