Attack of the (Kayfun Mini V3) Clones!

Hmmm... Good flavor is somewhat in the eye of the beholder. Here's what works for me: 2.5 mm ID coil, 28 or 29g Kanthal (26g is too thick for any Kayfun, IMHO, and this one in particular), 1.3-1.5 Ω, ~9-12 watts. Don't cram too much cotton into the chamber--the deck is tight and too much wick will impede juice flow and mute the flavor. Make sure your airflow is nice and open. Are you using ...? Rayon? Did you clean the tank well?
This one has been in my cart at FT for a couple of months; the regulars here like it a lot.The reason I didn't get one--no spare parts yet and I actually prefer my K4s to the mini. I know, I'm weird, but I love my K4s.
That's why I'm still waiting and hoping for the K5 with an MTL fix. I've been waiting for a streamlined K4 for a very long time--I can wait a few more weeks. It's not just about juice capacity--I want a larger deck, easier build, etc.

No more Kayfun filling tools, slap yo mamas, or Teflon tape.
Besides, I really didn't care for that tight draw. And please, don't suggest I get a dremel.

I had to wrestle with the idea of a Kayfil tool. Did you miss the "Blister packs forever!" portion of my previous presentation?
Oh no. There's much more than that. SM has redesigned the K pretty extensively starting with the K4--larger airport hole (went from 1.8 to 2.2 to 3.2 mm in the K5; top filling, air and juice flow control have been improved also.
I only had an EHPro Kayfun Lite + and we didn't quite get along. Filling was a pain (to fill the tank you had to unscrew a tiny screw on the bottom, fill, screw the screw back in). And the thing whistled like a kettle.

I have decided I have no love of teflon taped screws, or even touching that tiny fill screw on zee bott'm. I'm using the top fill method, and it's been ideal, perfected, leak-proof, and easy peazy.
If you like the V3 Mini but want more juice, I've been enjoying the heck out of this one (another Katfind).

EASY! And a bit of teflon tape kills that whislte, at least with the EH Pro version.

Love the Plus! In fact, I get better flavor from this tank than from the Minis. The folks who are carping about the V5 airflow would probably like this tank if they could bring themselves to buy a clone. Oh wait! This isn't a clone- because SvoeMesto doesn't make one like this. Bet they wish they did!

Katya gave some superior suggestions. This is a tough one as it includes your choice in liquids (ratio), your distance above the air flow, your power settings, the amount of wick,,,,,,,,,
Ditto. Amazingly so, actually. I can even use them while talking on the phone, and nobody can tell that I'm vaping (tested, tried & true).
But I still opt for Nautis at work. They're just easier (no quick crapouts).
And never to be left out, "I HAZ A FATTY (channeling TO)!!!

Pretty sure the draw is gonna be to tight for me and I much prefer dual coils but I'll give her a go and if its good I'll admit as much.
Cool. I'll mess around with it also. The air draw should be much better with the adjustability of it.

Nope. The thing whistled. It did.
I use 30g kanthal in all my tanks and I find it gives me the best flavor. I tried 26, 28 and 32g and 30g does it for me. Try it and see if it helps.
