@KTMRider Did you remove the airflow grub screw? It is possible you are having problems with conductivity if you did as the 510 shaft touches that screw.Just a thought. Also be sure the center post didn't twist on you as you tightened down the nut.
I was worried about twisting mine when putting them back together. I took them apart just to be sure they didn't. Mine are fine making them real tight.@KTMRider Did you remove the airflow grub screw? I didn't remove it but it's not in the way. I also made sure the pos block is centered (amateur@KTMRider Did you remove the airflow grub screw? Well how do you like it??? Does it taste better than what you used before?Got mine running..nice and smooth..no leaks..top fill actually works..air flow about 5-6 turns out from closed off..
1.7 ohm at 10-12 watts.. nice flavor and vape..![]()
I think it is better..surprised it's working at all as it has the first ever coil I have made in it.
The coil and/or wick is not right though..getting a scorched taste out of it. Made out of 30g at 2.5mm, maybe to much cotton..?
Gonna try 28g at 2mm and see how that is..
IDK..open to suggestions.
Yes what he said... I forgot to say that. I open mine 2 full turns on both mine. Never a dry hit or a flood.Swampus, make sure you are opening the JFC enough. If you have a fair amount of cotton in the well, just open it up until you see bubbles rising. You should see bubbles every other pull or so. If you do not, open up another half turn. If you are getting a burnt taste it is usually not enough juice getting to the wicks or too high a wattage and it is burning off the liquid on the coil faster than it can feed.
What resistance did the coil come out to?
