Sorted out and vaped about 4 tanks (16ml).

I consider myself pretty good at mechanical things and can usually sort them out but I had serious issues with the Erlkonigin clones and just could not get it to work w/o flooding/leaking. No matter what I tried, nothing worked. I wanted to love it because of the slim design and top fill method but it just wasn't meant to be. I hate that atomizer. With a passion. HATE.

I had a couple of issues with the KF v4 but I worked thru them and now it's working great. It vapes just a bit better than my Ehpro KFL+ v2 and I LOVE my Ehpro KFL+ v2's.

As far as the Ehpro v4, I haven't read that they're any better than the others. It might take them a few months before they tweak it stand out from the clone wars. Until then, they're in the same camp as Robbottech, overcharging for a clone that is similar to everyone else just because of their name.

Havent dropped by in a while, and I've gotta say I'm surprised even the early clones are performing stellar it seems.

I've a FT clone coming in a couple of days; any known issues with that?

Also it seems like the tobeco clones have been winners EH?

Ordered a Tobeco from ebay yesterday hoping for a good one. I keep hearing they are #1 so far also.

As I mentioned mine came with 1 air hole that wasn't drilled all the way. I'll be trying the EHpro version after some time.

I've been playing with mine for almost a week and it's not all that, the Rose and expromizer produce a superior vape. They are easier to build, clean and fine tune.

The one's I got were fine out of the box except for the FT red o-ring topper, I replaced all the O-rings with quality parts ;)

They vape OK but not better then the two mentioned and I think the Taifun GT may squeak the K4 out too.

Is anyone truly impressed by this topper?

I have the FT "A" version. You'll need a better (bigger) o-ring for #16. The workaround is to put dental floss or thread in the channel where the o-ring sits so you get a better seal. Otherwise, it's great.

Got to try Rayon. I've been using silica getting 4-6 refills. 4 sounds doable.

That was after 4 refills. I'm on tank #5. It should go a few more refills at least.

It vapes marginally better than my KFL's but the features make it better. Being able to get to the build deck w/o draining the tank and refilling from the top. And it actually works.

Yes, I'm impressed. The only issue is the spring that carries current so it doesn't work well with nickel wire. Probably the main reason I won't buy an authentic. If they redesign that, I'm in for at least 2 authentics.

Ah.... I didn't realize that's what everyone was talking about. That's the one I have coming in. Meh.

Seems like there's a new infinite version out on FT too

I have the O-rings I needed for the upgrade and everything seals up nice and tight. I'll agree with you that getting at the coils with a full tank is a plus but the tanks I mentioned do the same thing and I believe are better.

The spring doesn't bother me but that's because I have other toppers for the Ni200.

Like someone recently told me, it looks cool.

My thoughts are other then that I believe it's fairly unimpressive.

Received my FT type A (SKU 2018000) It's presently ready ready for a good bath but here's what I have so far:
O-ring # 18 fit into part #26 (chimney bell) is super poor, it appears that o-ring #16 is OK on it's ability to seal parts 17 to 5.
It's UC (510 base assembly) spins nicely with #9 screw secured, but ring # 7 is pretty thin (20 mil)
Other than above mentioned #16 o-ring being too small it looks real good, now for a good bath.

Edit: while I have a couple of SM #1 kits I used a 5/16" ID x 1/16" CS to replace the obvious drip tip o-ring they used for #18
(5x1.5 is not 10x1.5) 8mm isn't either but.....
Lots of burrs where the air enters part 8, easy to scrap off with a blade..
All and all looks real good, I expected more errors.
Now to add a ni200 coil, I'll be back.
