Saw that. Always been very happy with any mech/topper clone from them, so definitely caught my interest as something worth waiting on at this point after i end up canceling/disputing my order with Artemus tomorrow morning.

Keep in mind that Infinite doesn't actually manufacture them and quite possibly one of the other clones is exactly by the same manufacturer.
As with a Kenmore washer from Sears is made by someone else (Maytag possibly) but I guess you can be assured of a quality clone by going with Infinite brand.

I have the O-rings I needed for the upgrade and everything seals up nice and tight. I'll agree with you that getting at the coils with a full tank is a plus but the tanks I mentioned do the same thing and I believe are better.

The spring doesn't bother me but that's because I have other toppers for the Ni200.

Like someone recently told me, it looks cool.

My thoughts are other then that I believe it's fairly unimpressive.

What size o-ring did you use Marc? I think you have the same B version I have. I have tried a bunch that I got locally but none fit yet. If you aren't sure of the size I will order the one dwcraig used on his A version. If all this fails I will send it back as the dental floss trick only seems to work for a tank or 2 then back to leaking.

I ordered one from this guy on Jan 2nd. Haven't heard a damn thing either. Sent an inquiry this morning. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow morning, I'm going to also file a dispute with PayPal.

I ordered it from Artemus (Custom Mod Creations) on 12/27 with the understanding that they weren't coming until 1/5. That's okay...and even some delay is perfectly understandable, but the lack of communication to customers is one of my biggest issues with vendors like this. Let us know the status and we won't think he is being shady. It also makes me suspicious that they he probably didn't order it until he had a certain MOQ and they used customer money to front...terrible practice.

I've got the Kayfun in a pot of boiling water and vinegar. I already did a Dawn + hot water soak for 10 min, a 10 min 91% isopropyl alcohol soak, a 24 hour isopropyl soak, an hour long soak in hot water + Simple Green, followed by a lot of scrubbing with a toothbrush. I'm going to give it another soak in Dawn + hot water, scrub it, wash it and then let it dry.

If all that doesn't fix the machine oil taste, I'm just going to give up on it.

I just emailed him and he emailed me back in 20 minutes (at 11:30 at night). He said it just passed customs for him and that they were sitting in Hong Kong for 5 days. He's hoping to get them out tomorrow or Monday.

Thank you. That is good to hear. I had ordered 2 from him, but had not tried to contact yet. Was patiently waiting for a few more days.

As was I... you have to give these guys some leeway on pre-orders, but finding out now that they are sitting in HK when they were claimed to be going out on the 5th ticks me off. It will probably be the latter part of next week before the 1st class package hits the mailbox.
On top of that I feel like I know everything about the KF v4 (from this thread) but my FT type A has been sitting in NY since the third with no updates... ugh, ordered on Dec 16th.

Wow, you guys have been waiting a long time. I got lucky I guess finding a Tobeco on eBay that shipped from N.Y. I hope to be cleaning mine this weekend( lol) and vaping it too. Hoping...
I wasn't in a big hurry and I have learned a lot about reading the threads as well. Custom mods had them at a very appealing price, with the discount, so I decided to get a couple. Still happy with the Kayfun 3.1 clones I use daily.

Heh. After i made that last post i jumped into a chat channel where a few other people that had made orders there convinced me to go ahead and file a paypal claim with them. Filed it and then headed out for my workout. Just got back to see this and apparently a change on the website. Go figure.

Still strikes me as pretty shady and poor customer service though. I mean one random reply to somebody instead of, you know....not ignoring everybody else and updating your website from the get go maybe?

Yeah, i am aware of this. In my experiences it just seems they have that extra layer of quality assurance in regards to any mechs/toppers they stuff in a box that has their stamp on it. So i'm pretty confident it'll be a winner. Granted it seems you can't go wrong with a Tobecco atm either. Who knows, if i see a vendor i want to give my money to who isn't asking for the current premium on a black one, maybe i end up grabbing that anyway.

Finally finished washing it and threw a build in.

As long as it doesn't leak, I'm happy. The taste is OK I guess. Still might have a hint of machine oil but I'm hoping it'll go away after a few tanks.

Well that's pretty much the only time I'm ever going to buy anything from them. Could've already gotten a Tobeco last week from a number of other places and been vaping it already.. All this just to save a few bucks wasn't worth it.

I've been playing with mine for almost a week and it's not all that, the Rose and expromizer produce a superior vape. They are easier to build, clean and fine tune.

The one's I got were fine out of the box except for the FT red o-ring topper, I replaced all the O-rings with quality parts ;)

They vape OK but not better then the two mentioned and I think the Taifun GT may squeak the K4 out too.

Is anyone truly impressed by this topper?

After a couple of days with K4 I prefer the Rose V2.

The Kayfun 4 is a lot more hassle as far as juice control on air flow is concerned, the amount of parts on the K4 is asking for trouble also.

The vape quality on the V4 is definitely up there with Rose in my opinion .

I just remembered why the Ehpro isn't a good clone. The top cap (#38) to refill doesn't have the flats to let air escape when screwing it on.

The version I currently have doesn't have the flats on drip tip head - not had any hassles with it though.

I also noticed the air control on mine is a hex screw instead of a flat head, works well and is a lot less hassle to adjust..
