Well that didn't work, lol

Got one of my own titanium coils back in the black Tobeco clone and finally got the wicking right too. This is the first time since I got it that it performs just as well as my SJMY version
After a few weeks of vaping both i have decided the Tobeco and SXK versions are both equally as excellent. Maybe i will try the SJMY version as well!

The SJMY version is still my fav, but the differences are very minor. Everything just feels so nice & smooth & tight on it & the airflow control is a bit more clicky than on my Tobeco, & it hasn't missed a single beat since I got it.

The Tobeco is probably just as good though, I suspect most people won't notice a difference. My SXK mini should arrive next week so I'll get to try their fit & finish as well :)

By golly I think I have something to post about here. On one of my SXK clones I would get a bit of liquid seeping from the AC ring. This was some pretty minor leaking but bugged me pretty bad. I changed some o-rings one at a time among other things. What I believe was happening was juice was getting under part #12 because part #6 was not quite tight enough. I had checked for tightness prior to using it and once after and it appeared tight.
I had not disassembled this upon initial cleaning on any of mine.
Tonight I took assembled #9 and rinsed it off real good. When disassembled there was juice under part # 12.
So far no leaking but it's still early but I'm confident that I've located the problem.

Now don't be over tightening part #6 and snapping it off and blaming me.....LOL
How's it going? Still no leaking? I think I may be having the same issue.

It pretty much solved the problem although I still find a small amount of wetness occasionally under the atty on the mod but greatly reduced.
I'm thinking that the machine marks on the deck under the insulator are causing it to not seal well there. It's not much of a problem now so I've not looked into it as yet again.

I find my ohms jump around quite a bit with the sjmy. I have tightened the screw at the bottom but that does not seem to help. This is on a dna 75. Is there something else I need to do?
This may be the result of the K5's 510 being a little shorter than most other 510's.

I had the same problem on my DNA.Check your screws are clean on the deck,i found a sliver of wire on one of my screws, cleaned it off and been perfect ever since.

It's seems to have been my problem. All I did was tighten #6 a little. I didn't remove it. Maybe what's going on here is similar to how some seals/gaskets need tightened up a little after they are broke in. I will report back if this wasn't the issue and it starts oozing again.

Disregard my remarks concerning the machine marks on the deck, not sure what I was thinking. Getting hot then cold, dry burning ect. probably had some effect.

HCigar stuff in the past has always been hit or miss. SXK though is usually one of the cream of the crop. They make most of Infinites stuff too and its always been top notch.. Thats weird about your 3.1/Lite clones though. I have two of the EHPro KFL+s and they were absolutely flawless. They botched their KF4 knock off, but for the Lites those were the ones to get.

I ordered the Wine and Pico tanks from SXK, so we shall see when they arrive next month. ;)

Ive had nothing but the best of luck with the SXK/Infinite pieces I have. My Kayfun Lite V2+ and Magma are flawless, and I have one of their Stingray X mods too which is just as lovely. Infinite used to be the top of the clone food chain, until the Kayfun 4 came out. Their KF4 was pretty damn hard to find, and Tobeco somehow stepped up their game by 1000% with their KF4. Tobeco used to be a pretty hit or miss 'low man on the totem pole' cloner before that, and a lot of us were unsure about trusting another atty from them when it came out. Wouldn't it be funny if the reason they started coming out so high quality is if they have SXK making their stuff too now?

Funny thing; As i said i ordered the FT SXK one. After a bit i found out that the FT one seemed to be a Clone from SXK, a Clone of a Clone so to speak. I went through the Discussion at the Articles Forum and it looks as this is a "proper" SXK one.

So i decided to ask FT CS and they told me that this one is indeed a SXK Clone. Now as you guys can imagine i was realy confused. Even that you and the Buyers in the discussion Section where pleased, i went to 3Fvape and ordered an "Original SXK" there.

Now i'm getting 3. Am i crazy or what? *scratches his head*
Anyways, it will work one way or the other i guess.:D And as one was planned as a gift for a Friend anyways, i'll give him one of the Clone-Clone ones i think. :D:D That should make me sitting in the middle then?

I have found since i started using the Kayfun v5 all my other tanks have become redundant. Currently two Tobeco's and one SXK. This week one more of each will be ordered and i am seriously contemplating an original. I love this RTA!
I think the KM3 is easier to get more flavor from. I have yet to get the same flavor from the KF5 and I have 6 of my 12 in rotation so I build these almost daily. The KF5 is still good though. It might be because of the bigger chamber than the KM3.

I am kind of glad i have never tried another Kayfun, anything under 4 ml capacity would be a non starter for me. I only do mtl and i was surprised after all the reviews i read how tasty this is. I am waiting for the barrel ss tank to be back in stock from origin vape. 6 ml tank on this is absolute nirvana. I finally found my perfect vape!
