Okay...58 pages is a lot to read, but I did, looking for whomever is best. I didn't get clarity on that one.

I guess I need a KV5 guru who knows what clone is top end. AND, where I can find it.

I would be very grateful. Seeing as the Deemings are about here, I will be looking to buy a bunch, spare parts, too.

Anyway, if anyone has really got a lot of experience with the clones, I would be grateful for the help.

Thanks

You must have missed this:

Also using 12 x 1 mm for #8 and 22
Thank you @dwcraig1 I just rebuilt my SXK changing all the o rings and altering the sizes as to your specifications. It is working perfectly and smoother than ever!

I wouldn't call myself a guru, but I have a Tobeco, a SJMY, and a SXK mini. This is the one you want: SJMY Kayfun V5 Kayfun 5 Style RTA 22mm 4ml Silver Rebuildable Atomizer

Well I am very happy with my Tobecos. My authentic was leaking a little more out the bottom and since I really didn't know which Oring to change I changed all 3 8, 10,11 put it back together and all is well again. I am going to have to do that on a couple of my Tobecos also. It seems that if the juice control turns too easy you probably need to change those Oring. When I ordered I ordered 20 of the 10X1's since the head has 2 of them and 10 is the hardest to get off I broke mine but no biggie I was going to replace it any way. Even with lubing the Orings well it still turns a little harder but seems to be holding the juice. I actually prefer the Tobeco over the authentic because it is easier to see the logo when you are opening the JF.
I like my Tobeco's as well. I got a black one when they came out, & just got 2 more in stainless. I've only cleaned & using one of the stainless & notice that the airflow adjusts really easily, whereas the black one is harder to adjust. I do use more wick in them than in the v2's with the same coil.

Ive got the black Tobeco as well and that thing is damn near flawless. JFC works perfectly, the AFC was really easy to 'set and forget' and everything else on it is nice and snug. The only complaint I can even think of is I have to fill it like 3 times a day with the way it guzzles juice. I went from 60ml lasting exactly a week in my Derringer, to it now lasting like 3 and a half days heh. But the thing performs like a champ. And unlike the Cthulhu V2 I bought the week before, this thing is a no brainer to get wicked and rolling (like every other Kayfun I have).

Got mine from Eciggity as well, gotta love the fact that it only takes 2 days for packages to get to California from Hawaii, with the cheapest shipping option. I should've ordered my Sigelei Spark from them too but the day I got the Cthulhu (also from Eciggity hehe) and tried the dual deck, my 30w Sig Mini wasn't cutting it, so I got stuck paying double the price at a local B&M..

Three days shipping from Hawaii to PA with eciggity with there cheapest option. Also my last v5 order i ordered a unicorn bottle as well. It arrived without the lid. Opened a ticket and within 2 hours they responded and had shipped me a lid free of charge. Amazing company to deal with. Yes the v5 is thirsty but hands down the greatest vape i ever have had. No more searching just several more to purchase. Absolute perfection.

Yeah thats my next step is to stockpile a few just in case, but the next big purchase is gonna be some PG/VG/Nic which Im going through like crazy lately. Probably buy em in liters this time hah. I thought the KF4 was it for me (and bought 3 Tobecos), but then bought the Derringer last year which totally changed the whole vape game for me. I wasn't going to bother with the KF5 until this thread started and people said it would be pretty comparable to the single coiled Derringer. Best 26 or so bucks Ive spent hehe. The KF5 on the biggest airflow is pretty much the same vape I was getting with one side of the Derringer wide open, I don't even notice any difference. And now I don't have to hurry up and re-drip when Im at a red light in the car haha.

LOL its funny you should say that coz I went from using quite a bit more ml juice in my kabuki to only one tank per day (ish) on my Tobeco KF5.
So far I've found it to be quite frugal, but then Ive also gone back to MTL style vaping, which I've found to be perfect on the KF5.
Funny how vaping experiences vary so widely between vapers :)

But I maintain the MOST important thing overall is the end flavour, and the Kayfun consistently delivers that head and shoulders over anything else I've tried. :thumb:

Not sure what everyone else is buying but I got this one on FT: $24.00 SXK Kayfun V5 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / 316 stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Seemed clean when I got it, no leaks. I've ran a few tank fulls through it and I'm quite happy with it so far.

I think I read negatives things about all of them. I was hoping to find someone who tried them all. I did follow your link though. Thank-you for posting it.
I've worked my way through all 59 pages and yes there appears to be some minor negatives about all of them, but generally they all seem to be pretty good..especially considering how well made they are for the price compared to the genuine, which also has had a few minor quibbles here and there.

I would doubt there is ANY tank out there that is perfect in every way, but I personally love my cheap and cheerful Tobeco clone and would buy another in a heart beat :)

In fact the only reason I chose the tobeco is because that is all I could get down here in Australia, which made my end decision easy LOL

I waited on Tobecco or EHPro to come out with a clone because they make such good ones. All my +v2's are EHPro, except for a few single air I've provided a home for, & I have no idea what they are. They both have a great reputation for quality clones so I stick with them. I also have several Tobecco Magma's.

So I'm still experiencing some slight leakage, thought I had it figured out but not the case. I'm leaning now towards excessive wear on o-rings 10 and 11, these get a workout when the juice control is opened and closed. I probably refill mine 3 times a day. I've gone about this forward and backwards to positively identify the cause, very time consuming as it doesn't leak for a few days. More of a comment here than cause.

I was wondering how you are getting on with your slight leakage problem? If it helps after totally stripping down two of my Tobeco's and replacing all o rings i found on both the 5 was the wrong size.It was smaller, should be 7 *1.5 and it was 5*1.5.
