Atties & stuffing & carts, oh my!

Just curious: How far into the stuffing should the atty bridge go when the cart is in place? On my previous cheapo model as well as the stock 510 carts, it seems that the bridge maybe went into the stuffing by 1/16" or 1/8" at most. On a recommendation from another 510 user, I got some 901 carts to see if they fit tighter. When I first opened it, I could tell that when the cart was in place, the atty bridge would be almost entirely embedded into the stuffing. I thought, 'this is going to flood the thing'. To my surprise, it hasn't flooded it, and it actually works great! And the stuffing is more "fluval" looking than the wooly look of the 510 carts I have. It just plain seems to work better. What are your observations on how far the bridge should go into the stuffing?

Whoever recommended the 901 cart on the 510, thanks! It works great and I even seem to get better throat hit for some reason. I'm not too crazy about the whistle (flat) tip, but I can deal with it.
