atty @90 ohms?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but had a 510 atty go cold, checked the ohms, reads 90. Other working atty's are at like 2.8. I had been using it at 6 volts, then switched to 3.7 and nothing. Is it shot, can it be fixed? No big if not, I have spares, but just wondering, and don't want to toss it if I can fix it.

It has an internal problem. Either the coil has eroded to the point that the resistance has shot way up, or an internal connection has gone "soft". You can't fix it without opening her up.

90 ohms = FTD (fixin' to die). I use penstyle atomizers that read 3.5 ohms new. I generally chuck them when they are closing in on 10 ohms. At this point there is a lot of effort for little, satisfying vapor.
