So I got my sparkplug sp2. Everything is working great at 3.7 volts.
However I stuck the large tube on there loaded up with 2 batteries. 901 Atomizer, 1 second....pop. broken in 901 cartomizer, 1 second....pop. brand new 510 Atomizers, 1 second....pop.

Anyone have any idea what is going on?

I agree with the 4 ohm atties for sure. Will save you a lot of money in the long run and a better vape.

so are you saying that you stacked 2-3.6v batts in your 6v tube ?

my kit came with 2-16340, 3.6 batts, no 3v batts

that may have something to do with it, lol

to my knowledge, both these sp2 tubes and buttons are all mechanical, no regulators

I just tore mine apart, you are correct they are not regulated. Funny they call them power regulator...lol. I assumed that meant there was a stuff hidden away in the cap. You live and you learn.

He clearly tells you NOT to stack those batteries.. Not to mention the fact they are NOT protected.. And the mod IS NOT vented.. You're playing a VERY dangerous game.

Also, it's only advised to stack Tenergy 3v batteries.. Not anything higher (like 3.6.-3.7)

Where does he say not to stack these batteries? I just looked through my entire kit again and reread the instruction manual. No place does it state not to stack these.

I will not stack these again. In fact I think I will set it aside till my new batteries get here. Its dangerous with just one battery too then right?

I can't remember where he said not to stack the batts but I do remember reading it. I bet it was on the website. As for the unprotected batts being dangerous...there is always that chance I believe. I know that many people on here have been using them, but I don't think it's the best idea. I used mine until I got the protected batts, but I was nervous.

**Just so you don't feel bad. I thought I'd try stacking my protected 3.7's and my poor atty didn't last more than a second, Thankfully I had already received my adapters so I wasn't SOL.

I have to disagree though a 4ohm will work just fine the Iken 3.5ohm HV 510 Atty happens to be the best HV Atty that is on the market, that I have found to date. I highly recommend you grab a few of these Iken HV-510's they will also probably last longer than other HV's you buy and they will be the smoothest HV Atty you will find on the market in HV right now, just my opinion but I've tried them all and found no other that compares @ 6V

From the website...

"Warning: This assembly is not to be used with SP2 kit batteries. Comes with manual outlining the proper batteries, and usage."

Oh my...I did not see that on the website. My manual says nothing at all about the larger tube though.
